Holy Logic: Computer Scientists ‘Prove’ God Exists
Der Spiegel ^ | October 23, 2013 – 01:19 PM | David Knight

As headlines go, it’s certainly an eye-catching one. “Scientists Prove Existence of God,” German daily Die Welt wrote last week.

But unsurprisingly, there is a rather significant caveat to that claim. In fact, what the researchers in question say they have actually proven is a theorem put forward by renowned Austrian mathematician Kurt Gödel—and the real news isn’t about a Supreme Being, but rather what can now be achieved in scientific fields using superior technology. …

When Gödel died in 1978, he left behind a tantalizing theory based on principles of modal logic—that a higher being must exist. …

That is where Christoph Benzmüller of Berlin’s Free University and his colleague, Bruno Woltzenlogel Paleo of the Technical University in Vienna, come in. Using an ordinary MacBook computer, they have shown that Gödel’s proof was correct—at least on a mathematical level—by way of higher modal logic. Their initial submission on the arXiv.org research article server is called “Formalization, Mechanization and Automation of Gödel’s Proof of God’s Existence.” …

Only the fool says there is no God.

The crux (pardon the pun) of the matter is not “Belief” in the existence of God, with or without “mathematical proofs”, but rather in individual, personal acknowledgement of His Lordship.

Satan & his demons all know that God exists; their problem lies in their rebellion and refusal to submit to His Lordship... for the time being.

Carl Sagan believed scientists would eventually find proof of God...

St. Thomas Aquinas did the same thing in the 13th Century without computers.

Just as Neals Bohr, the Dutch atomic physicist discovered with electrons, so is the perception of God.

When an electron moves from an outer orbital to an inner orbital it gives off energy and a photon(light). The same thing is true when you go within to perceive God. A higher level of consciousness is always perceived as light from a lower level. Thus... God is Light!

We exist within God, and therefor are also a part of God, just that we are still asleep.

Proof/Schmoof

I have faith - don’t need test tubes and slide rules for that...

Also this was implied with Shannon’s Theory of Information - that the complexity of DNA and other natural codes infers a much higher intelligence than mankind at the inception of it all [some would ex nihilo or creation from nothing but non-believers usually prefer to say the Big Bang].

DNA - Simply Astounding Evidence for Our Creator God
The complexities encoded in DNA alone affirm a super-natural knowledge implanted in every living creature far superior to all of the computer code generated by mankind. Every living cell contains DNA, with only a few exceptions i.e. when red-blood cells shed their nucleus. DNA contains the estimated equivalence of 3 billion coded-letter sequences of A C T & G. If recorded in books, this code would form a stack equal to the height of the Washington Monument. It has been estimated that the number of messages communicated between the brain, spinal column, and nervous system numbers into the hundreds of trillions per second.

This awesome computer-like DNA code is:

1) distinctly crafted for reproducing each created kind,

2) self-correcting with a wide variety of healing processes,

3) a natural clock indicative of a young earth (see my links page),

4) highly-integrated, multi-faceted, inter-leaved, & redundant logic to minimize and/or eliminate copy errors,

5) unique for each kind and unique again amongst each copied kind due to gene selection/regression, variation, mutation, and adaptation,

6) pre-programmed with internal intelligence for maturation, survivability, & adaptability regarding most every environmental variation [consider the navigating abilities for migratory birds],

7) AND on display with all lifeforms throughout all natural history [consider the complexities of all the inter and intra-dependent kinds and the many varied eco-systems supporting them] bearing witness to the awesome power of God!!! How could this not possibly bear witness to the logic-filled ~ Logos and the super-natural life-breathed ~ Rhema also described in the Bible? If/when the modern-day science ‘experts’ ever succeed in crafting their own 3 billion lines of code, how will they ever duplicate God’s breath of life?
