A Tennessee man who cries tears of blood has spent the last seven years searching for answers and help.
The first time Michael Spann cried blood he was in his home coming down the stairs and had a sudden flash of pain.
“I felt like I got hit in the head with a sledgehammer,” Spann told The Tennessean. “I never felt anything like it.”
Spann said blood was coming not just from his eyes, but also his nose and mouth. He was 22-years-old at the time when this started to occur almost everyday.
Now, seven years later, he said it’s not as frequent, only happening once or twice a week.

“Any job I get I lose because my eyes start bleeding and they can’t keep me on,” Span told the newspaper. “Obviously, I can’t be a waiter and work in any public thing because you are bleeding.”

It’s called a bloody nose, the same thing happened to me when I was a teenager. I had a weak vessel in my nose that would literally explode blood and the blood would come gushing out everywhere - my nose, mouth even my eyes. I use to panic because I couldn’t breathe, the blood would be gushing down my throat blocking my breathing from gagging so much. It was nuts, all the time I thought I was going to die and they would cauterize it and BOOM a month later the dam would burst. I remember the freakin’ bathroom use to look like a slaughterhouse, I must have lost 2 pints every time, the freakin thing just would not stop bleeding! It gives you a good idea why an aneurysm kills you.
Whoa! Thank God you survived that!

My eyes bleed too, whenever Hussein is on the news.
The cure is only a few years away.
No, doesn’t appear to be the same one. The names are different although both are from Tennessee.
Same thing with my aunt they used to pack her nose to stop the bleeding. That was years ago, technology has advanced. She suddenly stopped having them.
A kid in my High School science class had high blood pressure and had similar occurances.
He needs to dress up as Jesus for Halloween.
I’m 51 now and to this day that is the scariest thing that ever happened to me and I saw and went through a LOT of scary things that would blow peoples minds. Seeing blood gush out of you like a water fountain while going down your throat at the same time is as bad as it gets. My mother use to be hysterical, we would stuff cotton up my nose but then the blood would gush out my mouth. I had to puke it out to breath. The amount of pressure the heart pumps is astounding, I could feel it spurting in rhythm like a water hose that was squeezed. What’s funny is when I started smoking cigarettes it all stopped for good ha ha. Never got another nose bleed again.
He just needs sweat and he’s got himself a band.
