Elephants are good pets, but don’t try to play fetch with them.

We have rats, and they’re the most adorable, loveable pets we’ve ever had. We had a large rat we named “Eeyore,” and the kids still talk about him after he’s been gone six years now.
I always wanted a ferret, but investigating them, I realize they’re more trouble than they’re worth.

Want to get a dog or cat? Go to your local SPCA - they have tons of animals that will be destroyed if not adopted out.
And please...spay and neuter your pets. There are so many cats that no kill shelters are turning them away.

kind of fond of rabbits myself - weve had 7 through the years - litter trained and had the run of the house - each had a distinct personality - even had a couple of rescue wild ones we raised from babies, letting them go when grown....several stop back regularly (we can recognize the scars)....though not so much since the great horned owl took up residence in the woods ;(
we had a dutch lop that would chase you around the house for some banana

Absolutely heartbreaking! We adopted a stray cat that lives in our neighborhood and I’m trying to capture the second one to spay it.
