I am main carer for my father but I also work 30 hours a week so unfortunately we have had to give up our pigeons we stopped breeding about 3 or 4 years ago and the last one died just before Christmas.
We now have to get rid of the lofts and return the garden to grass along with tidying up the blackberry bushes and getting rid of garden material where a friend had pruned but not taking the cutting away.
We are having a series of bonfires and then arranged for the loft and nest boxes etc to be taken away and burnt.
The weather though has put a stop to this at present.
