No 3d printer? Although take up is minimal at this point, it is going to be the next big thing that will change the way people obtain consumer products. How ridiculous that the PS4 is on there and hasn’t even been released.

The Polaroid camera was introduced in 1948, not 1967. Dr. Land took a bunch of them to demonstrate at Macy’s on Christmas Eve, and sold the entire batch the same day.

My DIscman long since discarded ...would SKIP,....while I was riding a bicycle
These were not drastic skips... of the type I associate with vinyl records...but they were a problem.
I actually got a ticket....for wearing my discman’s EARPHONES... while riding a bicycle. What chance is there of that sort of thing happening today?

The Pro Walkman had a flat black metal body and a black leather case.
Mine didnt come with heaphones. I bought a pair of Sony Pro Headphones the BIG over the ear type. Hearing issues ensued...as Id most often play it far too loud.
Ebay....price.... now 200 bucks....for those who MUST have only the most expsenisve Obsolete technology.....

But, my Great Grandmother told me the greatest invention was the push button starter for cars. Similarly, electric starters on motorcycles have opened up bikes to a lot of people who probably wouldn't otherwise be able to start a modern motorcycle.

In 1921, Willis Haviland Carrier patented the centrifugal refrigeration machine.
Too many to list ... and so much we take for granted.

My guess? The can opener. I agree with him. Have a very old one on my keychain. Use it regularly. Damned things last forever.

I would have to dig around, but mine had a blue carrying case with a long strap for over the shoulder/ hands free carry and a round compartment attached to carry the headphones. Pretty blue leather.
