Obastard must be planning something terminal, because if the House ever gets back to “normal orders,” there’s going to be Hell to pay for the shenanigans we’re seeing this past week. The Courts are going to have to open some overtime as well.

They are going to spend more keeping things closed than it cost to keep them open.....ANNNND...your point is? We all knew this from the beginning.

Allegheny National Forrest overlooks at Allegheny Reservoir were Barrycade this past Saturday. I have pictures of my handiwork at the locked gates posted here, but the image hosting site where I saved them is down for maintenance at the moment.

Again..since these lands are managed under a trust for the public, and since the USFS and Park Service have violated that Trust, the contract is void. What you all who are concerned need to do is get to your state legislators and demand that they get the Governor to proceed with taking those lands back for the people of that state. I have already done this and guess what...not a GD One of them knew these lands were held in trust...actually I did not know that most of the national park system was held as such..so thats and education on me.

Yeah, that’s the 1st thing that came to mind, the trees also will stop growing. Ranger Rick is gone.
To: crz
Would be a shame if bolt cutters were used to access roads that need not be closed.

We just finished rifle deer season here in Southern Oregon. There was no attempt to block any USFS roads (it wouldn't have worked anyway).
What did get blocked is some national wildlife refuge access roads leading to popular goose hunting areas.

Most Colorado Ski areas are on the forest service land, does this mean they will be closed. Hunting and skiing are a huge part of the mountain west economy Same here in Washington State. Basically most land that is rural and green is USFS. Some state forests.
Some USFS roads are like rush hour during logging operations. I'm sure that's going to stop. /sarc And hunting season is underway.
And lots of people live in cabins on USFS land. We've already seen Obama evict them in other states.

I'm sending my sons up with an angle grinder equipped with a cutting wheel, but only because it takes up less room than an Oxyacetylene cutting torch. I think some in their party may also have some explosives in case the roadway needs some "miner" improvements.

Or the streams stop flowing, or the animals stop grazing.

So would this total shutdown include all of the personnel assigned to kick people out of their private homes, stop looking at Mount Rushmore, and eating in private restaurants?
