A new study says when it comes to health, leadership and the economy, Utah women are some of the worst in the country. According to the Center For American Progress State of Women In America, Utah women rank 49th. The only state worse on the report was Louisiana. Utah women are dead last in leadership. Their poverty level is 43rd and they rank 34th in health. California, Colorado, Washington, New York, Connecticut and Maryland are all ranked as the best states for women to get ahead.
Liberals going after religion.
Date is insignificant.
(Where does “leadership” and abortion intersect?)
Agenda-driven reports by commie-pinko organizations mean nothing to me.
Why the sudden surge in attacks on Mormons? I am virtually certain that Romney is not going to try and run again.
This guy has been at it all morning. He posted a couple articles concerning Mormonism and has referred to is a cult. Naturally, he lost any credibility when he posted an article that cites a study from a notorious faggist/liberal organization. Just move along. He’ll go away.
(Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. "motivation-assumption" doesn't seem to be your specialty)
When are you going to write MidUtahRadio for reporting on it? That radio station has ALL types of Mormon clientele...merely reporting what others have concluded isn’t going to chase that Mormon clientele away...
Tell me how Utah ranks with respect to women being wives and mothers, which are far greater accomplishments?
Good Q.
Utah leads the nation in rates of depression among women...see post #2: UVU professor's study puts focus on LDS women and depression
We’re No. 1. (Louisiana). Actually the state gave me a full scholarship to attend LSU and get a BSEE, and a placement office that helped me to get a career in a non traditional field for women, but since I don’t want an abortion, all of that real stuff doesn’t count to them.

I live in Utah. There is a lot of sanity and normal Free America here. I don’t think you can say that for many areas in the United States. As to the Mormons, they do have their act together in terms of family values, honesty and so forth.
Why tell me? Tell it to the mormon hater. I have no ax to grind and I was pointing out to the relentless poster of ALL things anti-mormon that Louisiana is hardly a mormon dominated state. The original poster was trying to equate ‘the suppression of women’ with mormonism.
“I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.”
So somebody has twenty women in Utah answer some questions, and those twenty women prove Utah leads the nation in rates of depression?
And there's something wrong with that?
