Uh-oh... my lights are flickering. A police siren cries. A dog howls in the distance. #ShutNado draws nigh! jon gabriel (@ExJon) October 01, 2013
Is Geraldo in DC doing live updates as to what we've lost so far in the #shutnado? Josh Jordan (@NumbersMuncher) October 01, 2013
I’m headed back to Evansville, IN this morning from the hills of East Tennessee and am wondering if the Interstate system will be open. With the shutdown of our Imperial government I figured they would want to maximize our inconvenience. Better get the roadmaps out and figure out how to get there on the old state routes. /sar
Good going Republicans ,Im glad Republicans didnt back down.
Im so happy the stupid gov is shut down!
Im glad the government is shut down. none of the government is needed except for the military and border control and that is it , get rid of the IRS, EPA, FEC, FCC, gov schools, NASA( the global warming hoax pushers), TSA, NSA, PBS, national parks, NPR etc , get rid of all that government trash
What will we do without the IRS oppressing us conservatives and Republicans?
What will we do without the NSA spying on us or the TSA groping us? without the EPA shutting down coal power plants because of a hoax called global warming?
without the government protecting us from the fake global warming hoax? what will the polar bears do now?
Ill die without PBS lol no I wont
the democrats God, government is shut down. the media are democrats so they are on suicide watch
My toothbrush still works.
Totally relieved this morning when I saw that the sun had risen!
Without free federal breakfasts and lunches, millions of schoolchildren have started to eat their teachers! The horror.....the horror.....
“Totally relieved this morning...”
Yeah, I relieved myself this morning also. Just haven’t flushed yet because I’m afraid the tank won’t refill.
The recycling bin was still picked up. The truck stopped a large robotic claw snatched it, lifted it up and poured the contents into the back of the truck. It’s a one man job here.
NOW...
How do we American patriots put pressure on the Senate?
March on Washington?
Hold an “un-permitted” Tea Party Rally at the Capitol?
Send busloads of taxpayers to each treasonous Democrat Senator’s office?
What else?
There are many things we can DO.
Let’s be sur eto support our House against the dirty tricks of corrupt Harry Reid.
How does one get out of bed knowing that a third of government employees who are non-essential are getting a stay-cation?
My cat didn’t wake me up this morning. I guess she’s one of those non-essential government employees that got furlouged in the shutdown...
“Totally relieved this morning when I saw that the sun had risen!”
Today it did, but just wait until you figure out the weather is be getting cooler because we aren’t paying the sun to keep us warm.
Well, one starts by knowing that corruption does not heal itself. WORK is required.
And we can’t do that work from bed....
Hmmm....
Will you be marching beside me to protest Democrat Fat-Cats this weekend?
Today it did, but just wait until you figure out the weather is be getting cooler...”
Going down to 56 in Houston suburbs later this week. May not seem like a big deal for most people but for down here that seems unusually cool this early in the year.
As long as NPR/PBS are considered ESSENTIAL, and can get the IPCC AR5 out, that will be plenty enough to keep us warm and cozy.
I’m within spitting distance of Houston.
If the fed govt doesn’t pay the sun soon, we’re doomed.
“As long as NPR/PBS are considered ESSENTIAL, and can get the IPCC AR5 out, that will be plenty enough to keep us warm and cozy.”
Maybe so, but I didn’t give you the bad news.
If we don’t continue paying to keep the Moon in orbit, the Moon is going to slam into the Earth.
Who’s going to pay the plants to produce the oxygen we breath it the fed. govt. doesn’t?
Shutting down the nonessential parts of the fed. govt. has doomed the world to total destruction.
It can’t be stopped.
PANIC! PANIC! PANIC!
Took me a while to find the above as I kept getting this:
Due to the temporary shutdown of the federal government, the Library of Congress is closed to the public and researchers beginning October 1, 2013 until further notice. All public events are cancelled and web sites are inaccessible except the legislative information sites THOMAS.gov and beta.congress.gov.
Was that a morning picture?
