Giving thanks to our Heavenly Father for your husband’s improving health. God Is So Good. AMEN!
I think you do well on your posting and graphics, Polly. I swear I haven’t posted pictures, etc. in so long that I’ve almost forgotten how! I’ll have to get Meg or someone to give me a quick refresher course. Its hard to believe but we must keep doing these things or we do FORGET!! Could that be old age creeping in on me?? I do think so. Since I started using this laptop, I’m having a hard time getting to all my stuff. Oh dear....its always something!
Such a cute kitty graphic, Meg.
Good Morning, jaycee..Thank you! I have been up all night ..big thunderstorms kept me awake and then I just gave up and made some muffins.
Sunday Blessings
Good Morning, MEG!

I am off to church now...habve a PA System to set up and a band to rehearse!
Early one morning the wind began to blow and raindrops hit my house like small stones. I peered outside at the yellow-gray sky and watched as trees thrashed in the wind. Veins of lightning lit the sky accompanied by bone-rattling thunder. The power blinked on and off, and I wondered how long the bad weather would continue.
After the storm passed, I opened my Bible to begin my day with reading Scripture. I read a passage in Job that compared the Lords power to the atmospheric muscle of a storm. Jobs friend, Elihu said, God thunders marvelously with His voice (37:5). And, He covers His hands with lightning, and commands it to strike (36:32). Indeed, God is excellent in power (37:23).
Compared to God, we humans are feeble. Were unable to help ourselves spiritually, heal our hearts, or fix the injustice we often endure. Fortunately, the God of the storm cares about weaklings like us; He remembers that we are dust (Ps. 103:14). Whats more, God gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength (Isa. 40:29). Because God is strong, He can help us in our weakness.
Read: Job 37:14-24

Good Morning Jaycee... I tell you since I started using a laptop...well since I started using a COMPUTER period....my life has changed! Can’t keep up with it really.
Soon to be 72 and thinking back , would I have ever dreamed I would have so many friends that I’ve never met in real life , but who are so important to me! It’s a wild ride my friend!!
Many thanks and blessings for this message.
Safe travels Mayor and family.....
Beautiful fall basket..
I love a good thunderstorm. They are so rare in Los Angeles.
Have a great Lord’s Day LTOS...
You use such great talent for Our Lord...
These past few months (even years!)
have presented a challenge for all of us.
7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked.
A man reaps what he sows.
8 Whoever sows to please their flesh,
from the flesh will reap destruction;
whoever sows to please the Spirit,
from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
9 Let us not become weary in doing good,
for at the proper time we will reap a harvest
if we do not give up.
~Galatians 6:7-9~
May God Bless us all, this Lord's Day, and every day!
Thank You so much for your encouragement!
Today’s Service was already going to be “Tricky”, as our pastor’s Beloved Brother died last Monday, and the pastor wanted it to be a Memorial Service that he could video tape and send a copy to his Mom and Sister in TN.
The Video Cameraman(Who is also the guitarist) had to go and drop his sister off at the airport, which meant the band would be just me on bass, the drummer, and harmonica player (who didn’t come today).
Then a semi-truck crashed into the power lines down the street, closing down the electrical power for the whole neighborhood, which meant NO PA SYSTEM or Amplifiers for the Guitars or Bass. Power was not restored in time for the service, so I grabbed my Acoustic guitar and did two songs without the drums, and them manned the video camera for the remainder of the service.
The Church has been around a LOT longer than “Florida Power & Light”!
God is Good.
Good Morning Dear Yorkie...
Yes this has by far been the hardest period of time I’ve known in my entire life. How are YOU doing?
Psalm 46:10 is one of my hubby’s favorite verses.
Are those wildflowers? They almost remind me of Iceland Poppies that we’ve grown from time to time here, but not as large.
