Hope I haven’t told you this but my husband was a great harmonica player and loved doing it. He also could do that “train song” and it was great. I can just picture him sitting in his chair and doing that train. He could play anything but I loved “Lady of Spain” on the harmonica! His dad played the harmonica, too, when he was with us so guess hubby got it naturally. My kids tried but didn’t try hard enough! Wish they had! Now there’s no one around to play for me.

The harmonica is a very unique instrument. I had an uncle who was in an harmonica ORCHESTRA...and my late hubby Mike used to play it.

Once we were touring a Civil War Prison out in Boston Harbor, and Edward Rose Snow was lecturing about a Confederate prisoner who died behind the walls. He said that the Ghost would sometimes play the harmonica.

Hubby Mike sneaked his harmonica out of his leather jacket and started playing “Dixie”. Mr. Snow almost had a Haaaht Attack.

My computer quit on me for a few minutes. I’m surprised it came back so quickly. It did that the other day and took a long time getting back. Computers have a mind of their own and love to fool with us I think!

I would love to hear a harmonica orchestra.....didn’t know there was such a thing, hubby would have LOVED that!

How many days was she gone? That’s scary! We’ve had cats in years past and they can pull some tricks for sure! I wonder if someone takes them in their house for a few days, then decide they don’t think they want a cat. Its hard to understand though.

Re: photo of cardbox with 11 (or is there another one ducking?!) with caption “Thank you for ordering the crazy cat lady starter kit.”

Hi back! I’m glad you got to see that picture before it went *poof* into the interwebs! I hope all is well with you (hug).

Ooooo, Open Mic Tuesday on Monday!

Well, as far as the republican party, I’d say a lot of us gave up after Nov. 2008 (thus my Freeper name).

The only way to still use the name of the party and get our country back is to oust every single democrat in republican clothing from the GOP.

I am really liking Ted Cruz. Of course, my old favorite Sarah Palin loves him, so it’s no surprise she supported such a fabulous man when he was running for office.

We need lots of Ted Cruz-es. Or is that Cruzes or Cruzs? What he’s got, we need a lot of.

Cheers

Speaking of The Won,,,,when I left church yesterday, I was pleased to see a great big “Impeach Obama” bumpersticker on the car of a fellow member of the church. I love my church!

So True! Thanks.

We need to take back the House, reclaim the Senate and Oust the idiot from the White House.

I’ve been very impressed with Ted Cruz and disgusted with Mark Rubio. It looks like he is trying to join the GOB Club.

Wishing you a Marvelous Monday.
