Active military, Reserve and National Guard members will be paid on time for pay entitlements earned September 30th or earlier. Military members cannot be paid for duty performed after the expiration of the FY 2013 CRA on September 30th. Once another CRA or an appropriations act is signed into law, normal disbursement of military pay will resume.
well, at least they will close the dam golf courses at Andrews and Belvoir so he will have to find some rich white liberal to get him in some private club in Chevy Chase that is willing to close down for his security
maybe the WH chef and laundry staff will go on furlough and moochelle will have to make Eggo waffles and wash his shorts
But the areas where you are concerned about are not affected by the shut down.
Active duty military pay is not being affected. Period.
The fact that your retirement pay has gone up at all—and you bitch about how much indicates that you have no idea how the world off the government teat works. My retirement pay is MY responsibility. Your retirement pay is MY responsibility. Get it?
