Seriously? Who watches o’reilly? I still cannot believe he is number one in his time slot. He’s one of the main reasons I watch Penny on the Big Bang theory. I mean... If I’m going to watch mindless drivel I may as well enjoy looking at it right?

Ted Baxter is off his meds. At first I was in denial. No one - Not even BOR could be so religiously stupid. But... this is O'Reilly and so anythig is possible.

Jesus does not speak his famous words, "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do" in the book, because the way he was hung on the cross would have not allowed enough air in his lungs to speak them audibly

Not true. In the usual method of crucifixion, as long as you could at least temporarily put some weight on the nail through the feet, then you could breathe and speak. But when the legs gave out, and you hung from your arms, then you found it difficult or impossible to breathe. That was part of the punishment, because instinctively the crucified person would then push more with the feet in order to catch a breath. This could go on for some time.

The Bible accounts suggest that Jesus managed to push up and take one last breath when he spoke those final words.

But, then, I'm afraid that O'Reilly is writing these books more for the money and the fame than for the truth. I can't say that for certain, since I didn't know he had already written two books, and now a third. And, I confess, I've never watched him on TV, since I don't watch TV.

What is it with this guy and “killing”? Is he going to write a book about every single person on this planet who was killed?

Did the Holy Spirit also tell you to pocket the money for the book He “inspired”, O’Reilly?

I just woke up and I went, ‘Killing Jesus,’” he tells O'Donnell. “And I believe because I’m a Catholic that comes from the Holy Spirit. My inspiration comes from that
No, your inspiration came from making a lot of money selling two other "Killing" books.
I read Killing Lincoln and was surprised it contained nothing that I didn't already know.
Same with the Kennedy book. Boooooring.

I wonder who directed him to phone stalk one of his female producers and talk dirty to her on the phone. :-)

I take this with a grain of salt since it is CBS...but have noted several times that Mr. O’Reilly does not seem to know the teaching of the Church very well.

If he really believes that Jesus did not ask the Father to forgive those who were responsible for His crucifixion (all of us actually), and he believes that the Holy Spirit inspired this, he is deceived and needs to see his Confessor and learn something about discernment.

Pray for the guy.

Who whispered in O’Reilly’s ear to have Carville on last night? That was the last straw for me. No more O’Reilly. If I want to see a Carville, I’ll go out to the sewage lagoon.
