I saw the pilot episode and wasn't impressed. I have the second episode recorded but haven't yet watched it. Maybe I'll change my mind after I do watch it.

Cute lady police officer!
I was especially delighted with Ichabod Crane's outrage over a 10% tax on his first fast food meal.
He wasn't thrilled by our modern police state either.
It's sort of like a horror version of National Treasure.
Second episode is better. You have to turn off your rational mind a little bit and have fun to watch it.
There are some more liberty references in the second episode.
I ‘struggled’ through the first two, but once the ‘sight gags’ are run through the story lacks any depth...I got half way through #3 and gave up on it....
Not all into SciFi anyway and definitely not into something that isn’t remotely possible....
But I do figure the Lady Deputy is going to be a descendant of Ich’s wife and probably a ‘good witch’.....
Remember in his ‘dream’ his wife told him ‘she is one of us’, I am going to assume she meant the Lady D....
It’s growing on me. Definitely see potential. The characters are really quite good.
My favorite line so far is when Crane remarked on how the colonists rebelled over less than the tax they paid for breakfast.
Nope, jumped the shark in the first episode.
The pilot should have been movie length. There was too much crammed in. But it starts getting unpacked in episode two. Ichabod is great as a fish out of water character.
Saw the first 2 episodes. Not bad at all. IMHO it will be one of those shows that becomes a cult hit.
I'm off to watch the second episode.
I saw five minutes and thought, "Not the whole vampire/zombie/supernatural thing again."
I got through about 15 minutes of the pilot and decided I could find a better way to waste my time.
Well, you have to remember that the Pilot is just really a setup, to get you to come back again.
I kinda liked it, and will continue to watch, just to see if they hold true to the plot they’ve put forth.
Love it as pure fun, and of course for the gorgeous Crane!
My thoughts on the show so far.
I hope they bring in a dialog coach that is familiar with late 18th century jargon. It’s going to be tough, but they are going to have to vet Ichabod’s speech a little more.
The one thing that keeps bugging me is how he keeps saying he’s been asleep for 250 years. The revolution started 237 years ago so he can only have been asleep for less than 237 years. C’mon guys, simple math here. That one should not be slipping by the producers and writers.
Loved when he threw away the pistol after one shot. Good one!!
Loved when he railed against the sales tax. The colonist were rebelling after a 2% tax!!!
Seems like the headless horseman had no problems figuring out the modern day shotgun. It seemed to grow on him!!!
