Thoughts?
I saw the pilot episode and wasn't impressed. I have the second episode recorded but haven't yet watched it. Maybe I'll change my mind after I do watch it.

I'm surprised Breitbart.com got it wrong--as did Sleepy Hollow. It's the Book of Revelation, not Revelations (plural). That mistake is a sure sign of a script writer who has never actually looked at the book he wants to write a script about.

The premise of the show is stupid, but some of the dialogue is quite fun.
I was especially delighted with Ichabod Crane's outrage over a 10% tax on his first fast food meal.
He wasn't thrilled by our modern police state either.
It's sort of like a horror version of National Treasure.

Second episode is better. You have to turn off your rational mind a little bit and have fun to watch it.
There are some more liberty references in the second episode.

I ‘struggled’ through the first two, but once the ‘sight gags’ are run through the story lacks any depth...I got half way through #3 and gave up on it....
Not all into SciFi anyway and definitely not into something that isn’t remotely possible....
But I do figure the Lady Deputy is going to be a descendant of Ich’s wife and probably a ‘good witch’.....
Remember in his ‘dream’ his wife told him ‘she is one of us’, I am going to assume she meant the Lady D....

It is what it is. Simple entertainment without queers, liberal propaganda or stupid male characters. At least not yet. Sometimes it’s fun to just disconnect and watch something that is silly.

It’s growing on me. Definitely see potential. The characters are really quite good.
My favorite line so far is when Crane remarked on how the colonists rebelled over less than the tax they paid for breakfast.

I’ve watched the first two episodes and really like it. I take it for what it is... Entertainment.

The pilot should have been movie length. There was too much crammed in. But it starts getting unpacked in episode two. Ichabod is great as a fish out of water character.

Saw the first 2 episodes. Not bad at all. IMHO it will be one of those shows that becomes a cult hit.
To: EveningStar
I have just caught the first episode on their website. It's fun, but terms like, "what the hell", "defected" and "triage" weren't in use then. I wish the producers would pay someone like me to vet their dialogue. The tack and saddle on the horse was incorrect also.
I'm off to watch the second episode.

Maybe I'll give it another chance.
I saw five minutes and thought, "Not the whole vampire/zombie/supernatural thing again."

I got through about 15 minutes of the pilot and decided I could find a better way to waste my time.

I am not going to ‘argue’ with you <:
but,
I just checked and #4 is sked for Mon 9/30....
OR
Maybe it was so ‘boring’ to me that I thought I had sat through 2 when it was only 1???
