Tomlin isn’t the problem. The players are. Roethlisberger, despite all the hoopla, is lousy. The team needs a new quarterback. The rest — well, it’s a combination of no talent and youth & inexperience. The young players with talent will need a few years to develop and should stay. The rest should get their walking papers.

Big Ben has taken quite a pounding over the years and I think it’s starting to show in year 10.
But he certainly has had some excellent years.
The physics of the NFL are not kind to the physique.
Peyton Manning is in year 15 but the system here in Indy was built around his quick release, and not getting hit very often, and never running. Plus he still had to sit out a year in 2011 to recuperate.
