Burger King fries have sucked for at least 10 years, ever since they went to the no trans fat oils.

Now they're trying out out-suck their suckiness.

They had the best fries in the business. Throwing that away. Just like McButts did.

If McDonald’s would go back to beef tallow...

And the whole fats-cause-heart-attacks theory has been blown out of the water.

They make fries out of batter? Does that mean they will be perfectly uniform like their creepy onion rings?

Burger King used to make an acceptable fast food level sandwich. The Whopper of today is a dried up undersized piece of grizzle. Wendy’s has gone downhill, too.

Steak and Shake and Culver’s (regional midwest chains) have held their own.

Their fries taste awful, so this won’t help.

Burger King is also going to change the names of the sizes. The new name for small will be ‘new coke fries’ the new name for medium will be called ‘Chevy volt fries’ and the new large will be known as ‘Beta Fries’

Low fat fries, no way this can flop.

the triple whopper with cheese is a great sandwich

but BK fries are always sub-standard

so maybe this will help

(after a couple TWwC’s, for say a total of 8,000 calories.... saving 30 calories on the new slim fries might help BK get into good graces with Mrs. Dear Leader and her SlimYourAss campaign?)

The chain says the new “Satisfries” clocks in at 270 calories because of a new batter that doesn’t absorb as much oil.

For those who dislike getting their fingers soaked in oil, Satisfries come with a straw.

Burger King wants people to feel less guilty about gobbling up its french fries.

The only people who would ever feel guilt over eating French fries will never eat at Burger King. Once Burger King understands that basic reality, maybe it can stop worrying about such nonsense and start making it's food taste better.

The chain says a small order of the new “Satisfries” clocks in at 270 calories because of a new batter that doesn’t absorb as much oil. By comparison, a small order of its regular fries, sans crinkles, has 340 calories...

I'm sure that 70 calories is going to make all the difference in a meal which includes a 1/2 pound cheeseburger and a milkshake to wash it all down.
