They make fries out of batter? Does that mean they will be perfectly uniform like their creepy onion rings?

Burger King used to make an acceptable fast food level sandwich. The Whopper of today is a dried up undersized piece of grizzle. Wendy’s has gone downhill, too.

Steak and Shake and Culver’s (regional midwest chains) have held their own.

Fast food fries have a thin coating of batter on the outside to ensure crispiness.

And yes, now that the whole “dietary fat makes you fat/gives you heart disease” thing has been shown to be a fallacy, they should go back to using animal fat for frying.

Yep, Dave Thomas would be spinning in his grave over what his "burgers" have become.

Time was that you had to have extra napkins to soak up the juice.

Now they are pre-boiled, tasteless, dry square hunks of some kind of meat.
