Al Hirt was so good you had to post him twice! I’d like to hear the Chet Baker and Art Pepper album.

Great stuff. Except for Danny and the Juniors, at the time not respected by rock’s con-a-sewers (and for good reasons -square.)

Upon further review, I would love to hear Roddy McDowall read ‘The Call Of Cthulhu’.

I have the Brubeck Album. The rest, not so much. I do like some of the Ventures material (old surf rock is fun stuff).

Whoa -- is that Pat Harrington (about halfway thru the list) the same guy who was in the TV sitcom One Day at a Time?

Are you familiar with Bobby Scott? A fine crooner, wrote "A Taste of Honey". "He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother", recorded and produced a whole bunch of albums, completely forgotten today.

Thanks for posting this, Bender. They bring back lots of memories. I think that I have seen maybe two-thirds of these album covers. I still have about a dozen of them.

As a teenager I used to go to the bedroom, turn out the lights and play Ferrante and Teicher for hours and nights on end...Still beautiful music...
A couple you missed was was Del Shannon and this guy, Ronnie Dove whose every song was a hit...

One of my much older cousins had that “Whipped Cream and other Delights” album and was considered to be scandalous. It’s looking pretty tame to me now.
