Never before have so many been mislead by so much money spent by the so very few. All without the slightest attention to the truth.

I’m talking about those who deny proven climate science. Deniers, sometimes aptly called “confusionists,” want to mislead us so our leaders won’t move to battle the scourge of our time. Because if leaders act, profits of the fossil fuel companies and the whole fake universe of climate denial will come crashing down.

Climate deniers are gearing up for an event they really fear: the release next week of the fifth Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, or IPCC. It will again reaffirm that climate change is a huge problem and that it’s being caused by the burning of fossil fuels.

It would be somewhat more believable if their models actually predicted the climate. Since they haven’t and don’t, it’s pretty hard to buy into them.

The longer this goes on, the harder it will become. At some point, the pretense is just no longer practical, and the whole thing comes crashing down.

BTW, I think it highly likely our burning of fossil fuels is having some measurable impact on the climate. We just don’t know enough about the climate system to be able to predict what those effects will be.

I clicked on this thinking there would be something of substance here. There isn’t. As more and more people realize that the doomsday events predicted by the fearmongers do not seem to be happening any time soon, people like this author will have to yell louder and louder to get our attention.

Yep! If being skeptical of

1) faked data that is then

2) deliberately concealed from examination followed by

3) pressure to ban dissenting views

is being a "denier", I stand proudly accused. Of course, if the author is a "climate liar" (rhymes with denier) these problems are mere distractions from the looming disaster that will surely engulf us if we don't do everything they say. It's in the same vein as the "seriousness of the charge" despite the lack of evidence.

Actually, there is climate science. All the hoopla about carbon dioxide (a necessary chemical for life) is a diversion, and takes away money and resources that could be better spent trying to understand climate. Climate scientists who are not so beholden to political beliefs still do good work.

Co2 has increased dramatically and there has been no warming for the past 15 years.

The global warming models will not reproduce the current weather when using the data of the past 30 years.

During the Middle Age Warming period the temperature was about almost 2 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than now. The icecaps did not melt and the seas did not drown the coasts. In fact human kind flourished due to increased crop yields and the Vikings were farming in Southern Greenland. This was pre industrial revolution and thus had nothing to do with CO2.

The Vostok ice cores show that the CO2 levels rise after the earth warms and not prior. This is a function of the solubility of CO2 in the ocean as a function of water temperature. When the world warms the Oceans releases more CO2.

The medieval warming period coincided with increased solar activity. The little ice age which was devastating for humanity coincided with decreased solar activity. Current solar activity is declining dramatically. It is likely that we are heading into a new little ice age.

The sun is our heater and the thermostat is being turned down a little.

The global warming gang is about expanding the power of the state and be damned the effects on the subjects of the state. They also lie and know they are lying. Al Gore recently bought beachfront property.

The warming fanatics with their failed climate models, and their failed predictions, living on a planet that hasn’t been warming for 15 years, facing a solar minimum that will thwart all their demagoguery, have nothing to hang onto but their stinging criticisms of people who no longer believe their lies. Without the support of the people, that they have lost, the warming fanatics will have increasing difficulty implementing their agenda to impoverish the world.

So climate fanatics are whining louder, while the rest of us choose facts over faux science. Notice how the author’s diatribe is completely bare of factual support.
