It would be somewhat more believable if their models actually predicted the climate. Since they haven’t and don’t, it’s pretty hard to buy into them.

The longer this goes on, the harder it will become. At some point, the pretense is just no longer practical, and the whole thing comes crashing down.

BTW, I think it highly likely our burning of fossil fuels is having some measurable impact on the climate. We just don’t know enough about the climate system to be able to predict what those effects will be.
