MCDONOUGH, Ga. (UPI) -- The Georgia Department of Transportation said a loose bovine causing traffic troubles at an interstate intersection has been caught after about six months.
Jill Goldberg, spokeswoman for the state Department of Transportation, said the animal, found to be a cow rather than the bull it was originally believed to be, wandered into a pen built to ensnare it Monday near the intersection of I-75 and I-675, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Tuesday.
"We corralled it, then tranquilized it," Goldberg said.
The animal was first spotted wandering in the area about six months ago and DOT workers put a corral with water and food at a nearby maintenance facility in the hopes of ensnaring the bovine.
"It is on its way to somewhere better," Goldberg said.
She did not reveal the ultimate fate of the cow.

Completely believable. Cows are sneaky. It's also conceivable that no one in Georgia knows how to capture one.

Utterly dumb.
My bros pigs escaped. Calmly, my dad got some corn and made a trail to the truck that took those little piggies to market. Voila...Daddy brought home the bacon!!

Well, I hear that Hillary is bisexual, but I don’t really know if she’s loose.

What a barefoot 10 year old boy can do in 30 minutes took a government agency 6 months.

Not true. In north Georgia we graze em and eat em. Cows just around the bend from me wander around all the time. Get corralled easily. Now south of Atlanta that’s a different question all together.... but it is farm country

She did not reveal the ultimate fate of the cow. It died in a series of related fires.

I would have to conclude that sex education in Georgia for the past number of years is a total failure if they cannot tell the difference between a cow & a bull after 6 months of observing it.
The sexual appendage on a bull is pretty evident from quite a distance.
