I want W to stand up as a man and a president and demand that there at the very least be a budget.

W is an ex-President.

In the past few decades, Republican Presidents have retired and dropped out of the limelight. They don't feel the need for public adoration.

On the other hand, Democrats.....

Well, Bush did start all the spending and cause the dollar to crash, and cause unemployment, and cause the Germans to invade Poland, and cause the Egyptians to let the Israelite go, and and and and. HEY: I don’t repeat gossip, so listen up!!!

For the most part, he is doing what every former president SHOULD do after turning over the reins of power. He is enjoying his retirement and staying out of politics..

I only wish Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton would follow his example.

No matter how bad things are, they’ll be worse if W gets involved. And I like him.

“It looks like there is one party. “

There is one Central Party with two wings: Fast Marxism and Slow Marxism.

Both favor Crony Capitalism.
Both favor earmarks.
Both favor unlimited lobbying and financial favors.
Both favor overspending.
Both understand they have to manipulate voters to stay in power.

We have a government designed by geniuses, but run by morons.

Good luck with that. The man wouldn’t even defend his own policies while he was president, he wouldn’t critique his opponents plans as wrong, he wouldn’t even answer the most dumbass and savage attacks against him, why would he start saying something now?

I doubt George Bush making demands about the budget would help.

It looks like there is one party.

There is only one. It is the Party of Government.

Why should Bush come out and say something? He put Obama in charge, and I am sure everything Obama says, Bush agrees with.

I am still waiting on GW to reveal how the Clinton tribe trashed the people's house, instead he adopted Willie as a brother.

I actually don’t. It isn’t the job of past presidents to armchair quaterback the current president, and the presidents that have class understand that.

in any case do you really think this wouldn’t somehow be spun by the media and demtards as a racist attack on our savior president that saved us all from Bush’s last eight years? He’s just having a real hard time cleaning up the mess Bush left for him. That’s all that becomes.

i believe it does take some restraint not to say something, the urge must be palpable.

If Bush said anything....anything......the Democrat press would focus all the Democrats on him. Even Leon Panetta is getting after Obama. Bush can’t say anything that will cause Obama to resign. The Democrats have to do that. The only way they’ll tell Obama to resign is when Obama starts to hurt the Democrat party. Obama is hurting the Democrat party. Everything he does hurts the Democrat party. Leave Bush out of this. Sit back and enjoy the ride. This has been the best Summer I’ve had since I was a kid.

I want W to enjoy his retirement; why do you this his problem or responsiblity? He is already blamed for all that is wrong with the world, if he did get involved it would become about him and not about the budget.

It is up to the American people to stand up and demand a budget. Our current elected officials are responsible for the budget and our elected representatives need to hear from us in large numbers about this issue or they will continue to rock along as they have been.
