Frankfurt Motor Show: Germans learn a stunning truth.

LOL this is FR 2013...it's not allowable to actually read the article or watch the video.
This was a welcome change over the Crapstar minivan and the Escort (so named bc you don't want to take it ANYWHERE by itself).
Mine is black with the M-B Tex Palamino (tan) interior. Getting rough, but the engine just soldiers on.
Or the AMC 304.
the Honda motorcycles w/ in line 4’s coupled to a radiator changed ALL MOTORS forever
Preliminary results of the autopsy conducted on Madera South High School student Graciela Martinez show that the 14-year-old freshman died of heat stroke, Madera police said Friday.
Sgt. Robert Salas said tests by the police department showed there was a problem with the lock on the door of the 1997 BMW in which she was found Wednesday afternoon.
Salas said that if the car were locked with a key, its doors could not be opened from the inside. In addition, the horn did not work without a key in the ignition, he said.

Kind of ironic, she dies locked in a BMW and the story solicits contributions for her funeral.
BS
She fell sleep, went unconscious from heat stroke, and there’s no effort to escape at that point. Kind of like the frog placed in water set to boil, in theory.
I had a 1984 Toyota celica GT with that 22R engine.....it just kept on running.....everything started breakingat 250,000 miles......but not the Engine.
“BMW and Nissan would be my next choice, both have made great 6s over the years.”
I’ll concur on the Nissan. I owned an ‘85 300ZX before the Miata. That VG30E sounded really nice under full throttle!
Commercial Schommercial.. Don’t harsh our mellow, dude.
I know of a guy who races with SCCA here in northern CA in a Subaru-powered Porsche 914. I’ve even heard of people swapping Subie motors into Boxsters.
Nissan may make a great engine but their engineering sucks otherwise.I have a 2003 Nissan Frontier pickup truck and the gas tank had to be replaced twice at my expense because the Nissan dealer wouldn’t honor the recall.
On top of that a power steering fluid leak and an Air conditioning hose that just happened to fail following a visit for service at that same Nissan dealer.
That’s it for me and Nissan. If I buy a new vehicle it’s going to be a Ford.Nissan,Well they just suck loads.Just lousy engineering.
Yep.
Had a Dodge truck, 72, with a slant 6. 20 below, the only thing that I had that would start. Engine outlasted the body.
Just points and plugs and often oil changes.
Wish I still had it.
We had an 88 Honda, that went over 300K miles before my son sold it, and it was still running fine.....it was the 4 cylinder.
sounds like BMW is having problems on the scale of those experienced by audi thirty years ago....
We crossed it off our list, and the Taurus still has a V-6 option, but the styling is the same turd-shape as the new Fusion.
Now there's a real thirsty engine! I have one in a Jeep GC.
Have a subaru we tow behind an rv. We unhook it and it goes anywhere
Thinking of getting a wrx with one of the turbo’s in it when this one hits 100000
