I just think that is a type of dog. An ugly, mangy, vicious looking dog, but a dog nevertheless.

One would think that with a story such as this, they would display a number of photos showing the animal in its entirety.........no such luck.

I have fought with Chupacabras in hand to hand combat many a time, and this is not one of them critters.

There’s a lady in Texas who killed one and had it stuffed. She’s an professional in animal husbandry (runs a ranch of some sort).
Well, she had blood and tissue samples from the thing run through the diagnostic mill at some scientific labs, and the DNA profile came back as ‘unknown’.
Folks can call these things ‘mangy coyotes’ all they want, but there’s no explaining the Texas case.

Nick, this is one more reason why we in Maine will be eternally grateful to Mississippi,the state that traditionally kept us from being the poorest state in the Union! Now, the selfless citizens of that great state are defending us from ravenous, chicken-stealing, goat sucking Chupacabras!
We were so moved by this event that we are currently raising funds to equip every Chupacabra in Mississippi with a warm coat for the winter. We also plan to indemnify every illegal Mexican in Mississippi who has lost a hairless pet to evidently well-meaning, but inadvertently tragic species mis-identification.
I am also sure that when this Syrian thing is resolved, those chemical weapons will be used by Obama and Reggie to meet the challenge of this bio-threat.
