In addition to ongoing health problems, I've had two successive injuries that have had me of of commission since early May. Just started to drive again yesterday. If I grow anything in the future, it will be in containers placed up where I can reach them. My hot peppers are in containers and when things went haywire, I was able to flip the plant up and examine the bottom of it's leafs and spray there easily.
I’m thinking about putting some of the more unusual pepper and tomato varieties in containers next year. Makes it easy to treat issues and they’re not being splashed by dirt and microbes every time it rains. And, it’s easier to keep them away from bunnies and bambis.
And pull them in the garage if we have unusually cool temps.
No surgeries yet. I’ve been told surgery on my foot is inevitable though. Bah. I dread that day.
