what other position would he be suited for?
Maybe Tebow’s supposed to be an evangelist.
Rush did a riff on NFL quarterbacks that are successful “option QBs” Kaepernick and RG III being the example.
Tebow is in that same line. Look for the ‘Skins to be interested.
As my mother used to say, “Beggars can’t be choosers.” It is no longer rare for players to switch positions at the college or pro level because a coach sees potential in something other than what the player did in high school or college. The NFL Seahawks are involved in a successful project to turn a player from a college running back (fullback) into a pro linebacker.
I think he should go coach at the high school level. A Christian type would suit his quals
I do not think he said no to the CFL. Montreal has his rights and have never tried to sign him. They already have a Heisman washout in Troy Smith as their 3rd string QB.
“Tim, I love ya, I do. But you’re not that good.”
Guess that’s why he took Denver to the playoffs in his first season. And took ‘em further than Manning did last year.
I’d love for the bucs to pick him up.
it’d radically help ticket sales, viewership/ tv ratings and it’s not like he could hurt their performance
I do think it’s a bit humorous that some on a conservative website would give Tebow such a hard time for trying to succeed in a career of his choosing. That’s his right. He may not make it, but it’s certainly his right to try and I applaud him for it.
That said, his body of work indicates he needs to be flexible. Look at a guy like Joe Webb, who was wrongly made into a quarterback by the Vikings and is now transitioning to wide receiver. Tebow is blessed with the ability, and the name, to still try to choose his own destiny, but he needs to be smart about it.
Tebow should hire Dan Marino to teach him how to pass...and read defenses. Then again, methinks Dan might be trying to make up to his wife........and doesn't have the time.
