Tim Tebow, after being cut by the New England Patriots last week, has refused to change positions after a NFL team expressed interest in him, SIs Peter King reported on NBCs 2013 NFL Kickoff show.

The only bigotry I have seen from the NFL in regards to Tebow is one against inaccurate passing, slow releases and bad reads. I heard that Hell is you are a receiver going across the middle with Jack Tatum and Ronnie Lott waiting, and Tebow is your quarterback, repeated over and over. Oh the pain.
Very well said. As is is said, pride cometh before the fall. One of the seven deadly sins.
Anti Christian bigotry has nothing to do with Tebow. These teams are running a business. Tebow can not get the job done as a QB. His passing is horrible.
There have been many great college players that did not make it in the NFL. Also, many great NFL players did not start out in the position which they are famous for playing. Some did not even start playing football. He could be a great tight end or full back.
Yes, let's pretend he did not lose 4 of his final 5 starts in Denver. 2 of the teams he lost to in that 5 game stretch were the 7-9 chiefs and the 6-10 bills. Once the NFL figured out his schtick, he was pretty ineffective.
See the comments that got Rush Limbaugh into NFL hot water
You'll have to help me understand what this has to do with Tebow.
he is being black-balled by the NFL. His outspoken religiosity is one reason
A point that you cannot substantiate with facts, given the many other outspoken Christians in the NFL.
And that’s Tony Romo’s fault. Did you actually watch them play last year? The guy carries that whole freaking team and dysfunctional defense on his back.
Exacatly right.

I think in your zeal to slam Tebow as a quarterback you are responding to things I didn't say. I was commenting on how there was less outrage over Kurt Warner's exppression of his faith than Tebow today. I wasn't making the case that Tebow was as good a quarterback as Warner or that his faith is why he doesn't have a job; just that folks have been more willing to attack Tebow over his faith than they were Warner (Warner has a lot of folks after him toward the end at STL, don't have your wife go on talk radio).
I've never understood why those who attack Tebow as a QB often feel the need to theorize that he would be a great TE or FB. There are lots of great athletes that have played TE and FB their whole lives that can't make it in the NFL, why would a guy who has never played those positions, especially TE, be thought to have a shot?
I got tired of typing. If the Vikings got a good qb/rec combo that could be effective Peterson would actually make more yards himself.
I do not think NFL teams management care what your religion is as long as it is not a distraction to the team or on the field. I think there is more of an issue with Tebow because he has NOT proved himself to be anything except a self promoter in the pros. If he was even half as good as Kurt Warner, it would not be an issue. He is not. At least not yet.
The Denver defense that year has been the recipient of some great revisionism. 'Point allowed' is the only defensive category that they were not well established in the bottom half of the league.

Last year they were the 4th best defense in the league. Got Mr. Manning all the way to the playoffs...

That’s not a comparison to the many losers who are still worthy to carry a clipboard. Tebow isn’t going to thrive in an offense that isn’t going to play to his strengths. Same goes for several others. He seems really well-suited to the read option, but will never get the chance to run it.
“You’ll have to help me understand what this has to do with Tebow.”
Glad I can help you understand. Tebow is “done”. Vince Young, Jamarcus Russell, Tavaris Jackson, Seneca Wallace, and several others get multiple chances, despite being awful, but Tebow is “finished”. “I think the media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well.” Yes, I’m saying if Tebow were black, he would be getting yet another chance. Clear enough?
“A point that you cannot substantiate with facts, given the many other outspoken Christians in the NFL.”
How many others had Saturday Night Live skits about them? He did. That’s a fact. How many others had leaders from other religious groups penning op-ed pieces worrying about how they are going to lead some sort of scary Christian upheaval? He did. That’s a fact. Nobody on the Daily Show ever said “I dislike Robert Mugabe, but I hate (any other QB)”. They did say that about Tebow. That’s a fact. I think he’s the first QB to have an “I Hate” Facebook page, though he is not the first QB to struggle on the field in the social media age. That’s a fact, until you show me there was one before him.

You know what the four qbs you mentioned have done that Tebow has not done - complete more than 50 percent of their passes. They may stink, but they connect more often than not. That’s a big deal to those scouting and coaching qbs.
And one of them, Vince Young, was awarded offensive rookie of the year honors. In the NFL.
But as they tanked, they’re gone. Like Tebow.
That’s a shame, I think he could have had a nice career as fullback/TE type player.
He’ll likely never get another shot to play QB unless he goes to the Arena League and turns into Kurt Warner.
TT can’t throw; he’d be even worse in the Arena League with it’s tiny field - accuracy is even more important.
Buffalo almost pulled it out...too bad.
My boys beat “The Pack”.
The new look Cardinals had the same old results...Rams are legit.
Beware of the wild pitch, Mauro...
I agree but they’d take him to sell tickets and are the only people who would let him throw the football so he may end up there.

And I thank them for it. Kaepernick outplayed Discount double check.

I didn’t know about the insurance ad.
The second link - I understand 100%.
I hate the Rodgers state farm ads, there have been many. They all have this very annoying fan in a cheesehead hat, I mute the tv when they come on.
