Before the evil Europeans came, the locals never killed a bear.

They used to invite the bears to their village on Wednesdays, hold hands/paws, and dance and sing in a circle until the morning light.

If you are going to go a-hunting for bear, at least show some respect to the one you harvested.

I think that was over the top, hoisting the decapitated bear’s head, as if the hunter were in the movie “Predator”.

Obviously, this character knew nothing about, or cared little, for just how much a knowledgeable hunter can render from a harvested bear.

that hunk of bear will feed hundreds of critters, from bugs worms and other predators....who ever wrote this didn’t know anything about how nature cleans up the earth of the dead...rot is good to lots of different critters.
