Map: Where You Don’t Want to Be When It Hits the Fan
SHTF Plan ^ | 9/5/13 | Mac Slavo

Posted on 09/05/2013 4:23:05 PM PDT by Kartographer

When it hits the fan America’s population centers will explode in violence, looting, and total breakdown of law and order.

It’s a theory put forth by numerous survival and relocation specialists, and one that makes complete sense if you consider what happens in a truly serious collapse-like scenario.

Survival Blog founder James Rawles calls them the golden horde:

Because of the urbanization of the U.S. population, if the entire eastern or western power grid goes down for more than a week, the cities will rapidly become unlivable. I foresee that there will be an almost unstoppable chain of events:

Power -> water -> food distribution -> law and order -> arson fires -> full scale looting

What! NO New Awleans? No Lil Rock! No Pine Bluff? No Shereveport? No Amarillo?

This map is partially worthless!

The way I look at it, the urban herd will fight it out for a while in the cities. While the rioting is going on the wisest of the urbanites will flee and if they do find me, they’ll likely be worth dealing with and maybe bringing them into the community for mutual protection and support.

Once the urban herd has finally worn themselves out from fighting they’ll strike out for greener pastures. However in my opinion, they’ll mostly stick to the interstate looking for the next utopian city.

I35 is the main N-S route through TX - draw a line from blue San Antonio, blue Austin and north to blue Dallas. It will be locked down within the first hours. Down south in San Antonio, there will be a mad exodus of illegals headed to the border. The illegals who inhabit the east side of I35 in Austin will immediately head to the liberal west side of I35 for their rampaging. The blacks who took over Oak Cliff in south Dallas will meet anyone coming north and east Dallas will cross the highway to hit the wealthy in north Dallas. Funny how closely the blue on this map matches the blue on the election map.

I agree; they’ll amuse themselves for a while, preying on City Folk. HOWEVER, my third floor ‘Machine Gun Turret’ is nearing completion. ;)

Actually Jefferson County, CO is a great place to be. Only a small portion of it is in the metro area, the rest is mountains.

Well Janet the Nap did make that cryptic comment about a upcoming cyber attack and natural disaster of unprecedented proportions when she retired. I wonder when she got the ability to predict “natural” disasters or maybe she was just engaging a little hyperbole for dramatic effect I would like to think that is the case.
