A few years ago I did the Trans Canada Hwy from Manitoba to Ontario...in November.Big sections of that road are in the middle of nowhere,with forests on both sides.A couple of times I saw huge...and I mean HUGE...moose right on the side of the road...100 feet from the asphalt itself.I'm a city slicker who's never been a hunter and I didn't know they were *nearly* that big.
