Is there a hole in the earth?

I'm browsing Google Earth around Kauai Hawaii and I noticed a really deep spot in the water just off the coast( 21°57'19.39"N 159°20'21.30"W). The surrounding water depth is about 50 feet, but the depth of the hole is over 6,000 feet.
So I decided to dive in and take a look. Next thing I know, I am in South Africa. Pretty weird, so I try it again. Same result. Every time I try it, I end up in or near South Africa.
Does this happen for anyone else?

It has several times - and there's a time shift as well - I end up there during the Boer War with a horde of Afrikaners charging me!

Ya know, let’s keep REAL QUIET about this here hole.
See, iffen it’s still there, I can get a cheap (only slightly used) turbine and generator from the warehouse, and you and me are gonna be able to install it up there near the hole and run all that free steam through the generator and make a boatload of electricity!
Now, you get the boat, and I’ll need a pickup truck (well, maybe a big pickup truck) near the warehouse to pick’emup them parts, and I’ll meet you near San Fran in about a week to load them on the boat.

I did a google satellite search of Universal Studios’ backlot and found the airplane wreckage scene from WAR OF THE WORLDS. Pretty cool.
