She was 43. …

“Unfortunately, Lisa Robin Kelly passed away last evening. Lisa had voluntarily checked herself into a treatment facility early this week where she was battling the addiction problems that have plagued her these past few years,” her manager Craig Wycoff said. “I spoke to her on Monday and she was hopeful and confident, looking forward to putting this part of her life behind her. So she really wasn’t acting on That ‘70s Show? She really was a crack-’ho.

I think the whole show was full of lefties. That said, Red is a character. I can watch tv and movies without getting upset at the actors/actresses.

Working on a show like that is simply a bunch of contract workers coming together. There is not always a friendship developed. And since they were mostly kids, it was probably less.

Hollywood and the entertainment business is a tough world.

They might have seemed close. And that is why they call it “acting.”

If I recall, Al Bundy also endorsed Obama (in “character” although the show was long over). If it wasn’t Obama, then the actor endorsed Kerry. Been over 5 years now.

According to some reports, she was taken to a hospital on Sunday with a blood alcohol of .34, which is incredibly high.

A friend’s mother died some years ago of acute alcohol poisoning, which can shut down critical organ systems. She was drinking a fifth or more of Scotch a day for a long time.

Very very sad, just look at her. 43, looked more like 63. 15 years ago she was a beautiful woman. Booze and other drugs. Probably heroin, she had needle marks.

Lindsay Lohan, it’s not too late.

Youngstown native Ed O'Neill (who played Al Bundy) did a LOT of campaigning for Obama in Ohio.

One always hopes that something can be done but it was her fault in the end... she did it to herself.

‘Green Acres is the place to be.

Now that was a television show.

I wonder if Arnold is related to the Geico pig?

Which is why AA has always been a program of want, not need. God willing, Sept 5th I will celebrate 17 years sober. May she rest in peace.

No it doesn't, "addiction" means one doesn't have the self control to separate themselves from the addicted substance.......

Doesn't have the self control or doesn't want to exercise the self control because it's the harder choice?

... there was such a vein of real nastiness in the stories involving her that it made me wonder when I watched the show.

Yep, and it didn't really make sense, as the rest of the characters were following a similar line of development only about five years younger.

The other actors real ages (Grace now 35, Kutcher 35, Prepon 33, Valderrama 33, and Kunis 30, and a mid teenager at the time) are about ten years younger. Lisa's character was trashed and she was left out of the group, and apparently, the only difference was age of the actress and or character.

It’s pathetically sad how booze screws up so many people’s lives and those in their family.

‘Green Acres is the place to be. Now that was a television show.

I hereby nominate the episode where Dinky Watkins "electronificates" the Douglas farm, causing Mr. Douglas to get a visit from the FCC for operating a TV station without a license, one of the Ten Funniest Sitcom Episodes Ever.

The one where Lisa becomes Rutabega Queen and bombs Denver was very funny as well.
