Dr Who ping
I will be VERY curious as to the identity of Twelve, and the direction in which the adventure will take.
50 years of Dr Who.
Just Wow.
after 12 regenerations, he’s gonna need another body...why not Clara aka Jenna Louise-Coleman? She’s traveled his tieline and the memories would be intact...
Back in the day ...
Doctor Who was on PBS, but I lived in some areas that would get only 1 or 2 TV channels. So, I never really got into the Doctor Who craze.
I got cable in late 2002. I watched a program called Special Unit 2. It was an off-shoot of the Men in Black genre — aliens living among us. Then, I heard about Torchwood, which was similar. I started watching it. It revealed a lot about the Doctor Who history.
I also started watching the Sarah Jane Adventures [kid show but still entertaining], which were more of the aliens among us. [I didn’t know it at the time, but Sarah Jane was one of the companions in the old Doctor Who series.]
From all that, I got interested in Doctor Who (the newly revised series with David Tennant) which was running on the SciFi channel. I went back to the start of the renewal with Christopher Eccleston and began watching.
Considering the state of science fiction on TV and in the movies, the Doctor Who series is better than most.
They’ve already disclosed it on British TV. I can tell you if you want to know.
Christopher Eccleston is still my favorite Dr
Interesting lineup.
I like the ideas of Natalia Tena and Andrew Potts, as well.
Rupert Grint!? The Doctor is a ginger at last - and a Weasley...
There's now a four hour difference between Eastern and Pacific time zones? Did California move even further to the left when we weren't looking? :-)
SNORT.
I need a new keyboard.
WHO cares? < /wiseguy response >
I think I watched the whole season...but your mention of Clara made me wonder if I missed something. Did they ever disclose who Clara really was and how she had “died” more than once? If they did, I missed it :)
Obviously a typo. Should be PST, not PDT...
“Did they ever disclose who Clara really was and how she had died more than once? If they did, I missed it :)”
this is going to be very anti-clmactic isn’t it?
