Lynching was horrible, and not to minimize the history of same. But “millions” were not lynched. Someone posted some statistics on that subject, and the number was in the thousands, nowhere near millions.
Every innocent life taken is to be mourned, but, do facts matter at all???? Or are we racist if we take exception to something said by the likes of Oprah Winfrey????
Ignorance is contagious, dependent only on credibility, which is not, of course, the same as credible.
Oprah (if that is her real name) is "incredible."
>>Who has ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever heard one black say to another black, “negro, please”?
Samuel L Jackson says it in just about every movie he’s made in the last decade.
Many blacks think that hundreds of millions of blacks were taken from Africa, though the best scholarship finds the number closer to about 15 million.
1. Wonder what was the last word said to blacks when another black (from a different tribe in africa) sold him into slavery?
2. Wonder what was the first word was to the fist white union soldier that newly freed black slaves said?
Liberals are so easily swayed by pretty words, catch phrases and shiny, pretty objects.
Amazes me how someone like oprah, who made billions because WHITE, STAY AT HOME MOMS, watched her show as if their lives depended on it, can be so damn dumb.
If it weren’t for those women, she’d be just another black, female reporter trying to make a living.
Millions of people have been aborted, not lynched.
i thought it was billions and billions
Gotta get them flags on Mars before Guam tips over, because the ecology of the migratory patterns of the sharks in the ocean depend on you!
Pointing out her error will work out about as well as discussing rape relative to abortion. To point out that there weren’t millions is to leave oneself open to being insensitive to the ones that happens. It’s so perfect it feels like a setup. I can see it coming...
I heard it in the 70s, it was kind of a sarcastic way of saying the original version. I wasn't in that environment for a long time after that, so when I heard that expression on "Pulp Fiction" it gave me a chuckle. I had heard it before, said just like that, only not to a white guy.
Clueless dem;

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), as well as numerous other organizations, organized support from white and black Americans alike and conducted a national campaign to get a federal anti-lynching law passed; in 1920 the Republican Party promised at its national convention to support passage of such a law. In 1921 Leonidas C. Dyer sponsored an anti-lynching bill; it was passed in January 1922 in the United States House of Representatives, but a Senate filibuster by Southern white Democrats defeated it in December 1922. With the NAACP, Representative Dyer spoke across the country in support of his bill in 1923, but Southern Democrats again filibustered it in the Senate. He tried once more but was again unsuccessful.
African-American womens clubs, such as the Association of Southern Women for the Prevention of Lynching, raised funds to support the work of public campaigns, including anti-lynching plays. Their petition drives, letter campaigns, meetings and demonstrations helped to highlight the issues and combat lynching.[2] From 1882 to 1968, ...nearly 200 anti-lynching bills were introduced in Congress, and three passed the House. Seven presidents between 1890 and 1952 petitioned Congress to pass a federal law.[3] No bill was approved by the Senate because of the powerful opposition of the Southern Democratic voting block
I wonder if Oprah told her sad song Afro-diary about this:
Nobody has lost more for backing Obama than Oprah Winfrey. She had fund-raisers for him on her Cali estate. She appeared publicly with M/M on the campaign trail.....had the two on her show, etc etc etc.
But her viewers were appalled at her blatant politicking-—they stopped tuning in...and soon Oprah slipped in the ratings, and lost her lucrative talk show.
Later when she tried to cash in——the O’s snubbed her. The buzz is Mrs O berated Mr O for seeking Oprah’s advice.
Mrs O left her hanging when she showed up at the WH-—
and told Oprah she would not appear on her show.
She told the audience that her mother worked for a nice white lady, and now she has nice white ladies working for her.
There was just something about the way she said it that made her sound real smarmy.
She always does so what’s new?
The black race is 95% totally ignorant of anything logical and rational. They see everything in the prism of black/white. Every thought, every decision that involves both races, they judge it from a racist perspective. They are far more racist than whites. America would never have elected this racist if whites were racists.
