A live broadcast hosted by Zoe Ball this Sunday will reveal the actor who will portray the twelfth incarnation of the Gallifreyan Time Lord known across space and time as simply The Doctor. Showrunner Steven Moffat and eleventh Doctor Matt Smith will be joining Ball on the special–along with whoever’s going to be playing the new Doctor.
The announcement is scheduled to air at 7pm, Sunday August 4th in the UK….and 11am PDT and 2pm EDT in the States.

The was an episode, "The Doctor's Daughter", where the doctor's dna was used to make a young female clone of him. He could get in some incest action. Actually, he already has (David Tennant, who played the Doctor, wound up marrying Georgia Moffett, who played the daughter, and they now have three kids)
They have been bringing the homo crap more and more on DW, it is getting unbearable.
You could tell they wanted to spin-off the alien lesbians to their own show.
Matt Smith seemed like a throwback to the earlier doctors like Tom Baker.

Matt Smith to me has been the Sixth Doctor to David Tennant’s Fifth Doctor. (Not a reference to the “Time Crash” special, BTW)

On top of that, Georgia Moffett is the daughter of the guy who played the Fifth Doctor (Peter Davison, né Moffett).
I think we’ve already heard that John Hurt will be playing The Valeyard.
Nine lasted one season; Ten did three seasons plus the specials; Eleven has done the same.
I liked Nine’s intensity, Ten’s mania, and Eleven’s “mad man with a box” schtick. I especially loved River.
Couldn’t get to like Clara. I miss Donna Noble...
I hated that aspect of Captain Jack Harkness. It wasn’t bad in the Dr. Who series, but in the “Torchwood” it was flaming.

A man from the distant past is revived and immediately one of the main slutty characters bed him.
Never watched it again.
The best Doctors: Pertwee, Baker, Tennant, and Smith, not in any particular order, but my favorite was Tom Baker. I have a crush on River and expect there will be a Time Lord Female, but I doubt as the Doctor. Donna Noble looked into the vortex of Time when saving the Doctor in a Tennant episdoe, so she could be suddenly revealed as a time lord, and one episode of Tennant’s tenure featured the Daughter of the Doctor, so she could come on as a Time Lord descendant inheriting the ‘traits’. I would actually like to have a healthy spin-off, perhaps of ‘Miss Doctor’ or ‘MS Who’. There are many avenues to explore with a female Time Lord, without delving into degeneracy. But given the writing staff, degeneracy will be a hallmark of any new spin-offs in the foreseeable future, sadly. Incidentally, Amy Pond could be discovered to have Time Lord tendencies since she as a little girl looked several times into the rift, before Smith closed it. That could give River time lord tendencies since she is Amy and Rory’s little girl and she married The Doctor and presumably shared bodfily fluids with a time lord.
