On his radio show this morning, Glenn Beck not-so-fondly recalls the time he was employed by ABC News and became Diane Sawyers little bitch before their working relationship soured and she became the biggest bigot Ive ever seen.
According to Beck, during his brief stint as an ABC contributor, Sawyer was fond of him and would call him up frequently to discuss what sorts of ideas she had for improving television. I was Diane Sawyers little bitch, he told his co-hosts today, recalling how shed call and e-mail him so frequently his wife became concerned.
However, he alleged, Sawyer stopped dealing with Beck after the Council on AmericanIslamic Relations went down to ABC and demanded that the network cease giving him a platform or they will boycott ABC, its parent company Disney, and the Disney parks.
All of the sudden, I cant get Diane on the phone, he recalled. Eight months later, I have lunch with her, and she becomes the biggest bigot Ive ever seen in my life.
As Beck continued to posit his theories on why the friendship went south, co-host Stu Burguiere mocked Beck for speaking so frankly, telling him: Dont even think about what youre saying. Just go with it.
Watch at the link:
There have been several times that he has released information that should have been earth shattering, but, for whatever reason, wasn't.
The Saudi national with connections to the Boston bombings comes to mind.
Then there's Libya-4 people murdered and a massive cover up- no one seems to care.
If Beck is emotional, it's because we live in a time of total madness.
It probably gets to him from time to time.
At least he's doing something about moving American ideas back into our culture.
With all due respect, it really bugs me when people tear down the efforts of those who are trying to make a difference in the current cultural-ideological war.
People need to study the concept of "Allies" in war, and stop forming circular firing squads.
The more people exposed to conservative ideas, the better.
It doesn't matter if they get it from Rush, Glenn, Levine, or anyone else. Different people have different tastes. As long as they get the information.
Whenever I see these negative "Can't stand him", "He's__________", posts, about any conservative media person, I suspect that the poster is on the Soros payroll.
Oh, I almost forgot, so thanks for reminding me. Another standby of the diehard Beck fangirl is that anyone who doesn't share their love for Beck is a troll, DUer, paid Soros minion, etc.
Judging from Beck's stated approval of the idea of sodomite marriage, he's trying to make a cultural difference in the wrong direction.
"People need to study the concept of "Allies" in war, and stop forming circular firing squads."
Again, no one who sanctions queer marriage is my ally.
Nothing I said about "allies" got through to you.
Well with Glenn there are five different things.
The Blaze News site
The Blaze TV
The Blaze Radio Network
His nightly program
His radio program
So it a complicated thing.
Guy wants to create a network to take on Fox news and the rest.
But guy also started a radio network and a adjacent news site.
He does two programs and they are not the same.
All I can say, IF I had soros thugs on my a** for everything I try to get out to the public, I’d probably clam up when my life or family were in danger. Anyone who misses this simple and provable reality, just continues to sit here and type away, believing somebody or something will ‘happen’ and things will magically transform.
Our side is insane, on so many levels...certainly not restricted to the voices on TV or radio, or our pathetic politicians. And yet, by all means, lets squabble over Beck/Rush/Levin/Malkin/Coulter - cuz the left is REALLY engaged in seeing how we sort this all out! lol - simply ridiculous, imho.
For example-if you are Catholic and marry in the Church, it is between only you and the Church.
It is separate from the government.
If you get divorced
you also have to get an annulment from the Church.
I think there are some valid points to be made about the idea of leaving government entirely out of marriage.
Do you know when Beck was at ABC? What timeframe are we looking at here?
Both Beck and Palin are people who kissed up to the establishment, but seemed to have had a “come to Jesus moment”, and are talking about their experiences with the slime known as the establishment.
I have had similar revelations about the things I was taught about the liberal establishment.
I give them both credit. They each know at this point, both sides are going to mock them. They need to stay right with God and keep talking.
God’s way is to bring people up in the slime, and then separate a remnant, and take them to His side- so that people who have ears to hear, will listen and be saved.
Well our side is divided between candidates, talking heads and issues. Libertarians and the leftists exploitate it for us. Herding us is like herding cats.
There is a group that since Glenn Beck emerged in 2006, not 2009, but actually Glenn started his current radio show in 2002, has been invested in attacking everything and every move.
Yet, a majority tuned him out. But at the same time, people don’t have the time to follow these guys in conservative media 24/7.
So people have had every opinion under the sun against Glenn and others. Yet, he has a devoted following.
There is a rift because some people really like 70 to 80 percent of what Beck is saying. Maybe all of it.
Yet he has so many detractors on our side who will never embrace him. So it makes you wonder if his network can succeed.
My thinking is Glenn appeared on ABC around 2006 to 2007. But it could have been earlier. He joined HLN in 2006 with his first tv show. Not sure if that was the platform he used using to go on ABC or if ABC had him on before when he just did his radio show. But probably around 2006. Also not sure if he meant Good Morning America when Diane was there or when she started the Nightly News. I am guessing it was when Diane was on GMA and either Peter Jennings or Charlie Gibson did the nightly news.
Go after something worth it Glenn.
Beck also has been a contributor to ABC's "Good Morning America," has a Web site and does standup comedy tours.
Yeah. The best thing is to go Glenn’s sites and read for yourself.
You can also hear his radio network:

Looking at Wikipedia, Sawyer didn’t switch to the nightly news until 2009. Beck was there with his TV show from Jan 2006 through October of 2008.
The thing that is interesting is that October of 2008 is when the media heads were threatened - but NOT ABC, according to the notes I took from Hagman’s interview with Laurie Roth. Fox, NBC, CBS, CNN, and 2 large radio networks were mentioned. ABC was conspicuously absent. Maybe because CAIR was already making sure they stayed quiet?
Probably. The media is quiet a mess today. Fox News anchors and personalities and guests were told not to talk to about any Birther or Obama identity fraud issue or investigation.
Wow, this could, like, change the entire political landscape of America, just like his last two really huge announcements.
I agree... and honestly, it’s freakin exhausting watching and listening to those who desire to move our country off the cliff, go off and bicker endlessly over the most inane crap.
This arguing and bickering over who said what and who has more creed, is just mindless bullcrap and adds nothing to our goals. Ya know what, forget it, I’m fighting against human nature, everybody wants to be ‘right’ and as they stand around fighting nonsense, the left marches right on by.
Yeah I just realized that however he did not reminisce for the first time in 25 years, that’s for sure. But ok.
Hey I listen to them all I just recognize some of it is commercial.
