It is so easy to become listless, dissatisified, bored, lack of interest —(ennui) etc. Surrounded by wonders galore. We do not see them or appreciate them. Father forgive our self centered focus. We know not what we do. Open our eyes, mind, and heart to the SCRIPTURES, AND THY COMMANDS., IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.
It was good to be here even if it was for such a short time. Sunday afternoon, my modem failed and I lost all internet. I made two trips to Fresno yesterday for new equipment. After many hours, I finally got online at 11:00 last night; tho it was limited. I worked on getting the wireless issues resolved this morning. I think I have most of the issues resolved. Wireless printer is still not working, it will probably need to wait until Jr comes here this weekend.
Great to hear from you too, Potlatch. I’m not here very much anymore. Too many things demanding all my time.
I am doing very well. Surgery went well and am receiving no further treatment at this time. Thank you for your prayers.

I just lost my cable connection an hour ago..No TV either..
I at first thought I might have lost the modem..but now all is well.
Whew..Hope you get everything working soon.
I love the sweet kitty among the flowers. I think the kitty spots something moving or flying perhaps. He wants it bad....LOL! And if he’s patient, he’ll get it!
Are you getting new twin beds? Since you said ‘beds’, I figured one room might have twin beds! Or maybe you’re getting beds for two rooms!
Don’t disturb whats lurking under the beds ‘cause they may bite you tonight.....LOL! Beds do not get cleaned under very much so you’re certainly disturbing them! As I got older, it was even harder to clean under beds. I just can’t move and maneuver like I once did. WHO CAN?
Thank goodness for helpers and cleaning ladies.
Getting hungry here so will look for lunch, either here or somewhere else! I’d love to have some crispy wings. My KFC is on the other side of town and a good distance. Maybe I’ll call a couple of places to see if I can find some over on this end.

It’s when he could come..I am not sure the twin beds will be delivered this week..but had to be ready..
The King size will be delivered next week..so that clean out will occur Friday afternoon.
I have REALLY FUZZY bedskirts where the kitties go under the beds..I have to brush them before washing..LOL
I quite understand.
Lynn-Dah likes to rub her sides up against the bedskirt. It’s a little ritual with her.
I’m getting new twins and a new king sized..I never disturb under the bed except to shove something under it..LOL

Seems that I’m having wireless connection problems.
Maybe I will be okay until this weekend. If not, I will have to call son for help or the ATT Techs again. I get so frustrated trying to resolve all of these problems. If I’m lucky, I will not need my printer for a few days.

Wonderful to hear from you Amy! I believe you were the last person I posted to before I took a 2 1/2 month break. I had seen ‘your’ thread and posted on it and then disappeared - but I promise you, I did keep you in my prayers.
I’m not here much myself, still in mourning like so many others, and the news is horrific. I’m SO HAPPY you are doing well! ((HUGS))
By the way, I did go across town today to get those wings. I had to wait about 10 minutes and that’s good because they had to cook them. They were out of this world. I got them at KFC. Its a little distance but in the long run it was worth it. At the time I ate, it served as lunch and dinner and I haven’t been hungry yet! I always say if I get hungry, I can have some cereal or something like that. Don’t think I am going to need anything else. If so, a small glass of milk and a couple of cookies will suffice!
So glad you had that great visit with your loved ones. Don’t you just love a new t.v.? And new beds will be wonderful and could help your back. I think my king size will outlast me (I hope.) The bed in my guest room has hardly been slept on. Its a queen size, mine is a king size.
I’ve had the guest room bed a long time but it has only been used by company and I don’t have much of that anymore. My brother and wife don’t even get to visit anymore. He’s older than me by 3 years and those trips have gotten hard on them. Its sad sometimes but we have to accept the days and years as they come along.
You’ll feel like a queen when you get those new beds, Meg!

It has been at least a year since I vacuumed under the beds real good.
