I missed you, too, Potlatch. I always wonder when you and others don’t show up for a long period. I think our thread is the best. I wouldn’t stay on one of those hateful places at all. Sometimes the political threads can get nasty so I don’t go to them much, even though I love talking about politics if its nice and humane! Sometimes I get on one of those sites just to listen and hear....LOL!
I have to stay away from Amy’s some just to rest up and get caught up on work, etc. but I never get caught up....only try!! But Amy’s Place is my favorite place! I need to do a lot of catching up on my work this week but we’ll see if it works. I hope I can catch up a little. I haven’t watered my flowers as much as usual and it makes me feel bad. All they need is a little drink of water....LOL!
Come when you can as we care about “our friends”. I’ve had stovetop problems today. My stove eyes are acting up. My son came by and said he had someone to stop here tomorrow and check all the burners out. He would have done it but the races are in town and he works down there when they’re here. He just loves to be around that stuff. My other son could care less. He enjoys staying home on weekends and getting caught up on his work. My two sons are SO DIFFERENT!! Thats the way it goes, I guess.

Thank you, yorkie. The man will be here tomorrow so I went to Hardee’s and picked up gravy biscuits and a nice piece of sausage for breakfast and will pick up my supper somewhere. I just had 2 of those little mandarin orange cups. They are so good! Greg told me I could use 2 of the burners but if I don’t have to cook, I won’t. I haven’t had one of those roast beef sandwiches from Hardee’s in a while with horseradish sauce, so that may be my supper....LOL!
I don’t know when the race is....I was wondering as Greg is planning on staying there for a week. I think he and some friends camp out and I think thats what they like best as I’m always teasing him about it. I bet the race is next weekend but they have fun watching the racers arrive in their big tractor trailers and I guess its fun if you’re into that stuff. They can watch them practice some this week and that will be fun for them. The racers and fans bring a lot of money into our city and we have two huge races each year. People come here from all over the USA and Canada for the races.
I don’t know if Tony Stewart will race or not. It’ll be on our news this coming week I suppose. I bet he will be racing.
Think I need to adjust my thermostat as I am getting hot in this den. When I have the laptop here on my lap, it makes you get hotter! But I do like sitting on the couch and using the laptop. Seems I have more trouble typing on it as the keys fit different. Had to trim my nails some to use it. I am getting more used to it and its nice with a pillow for my back and sitting on the couch. OMG, what a long post. Oh well.....I’m not going to delete now! See you later, gator!
I’m having some trouble, too, Meg. I am going to take a break also. There’s just so many mistakes I can correct in a day....LOL! And my computer stinks today with problems.
I wanted to wish you a very Happy Birthday, Kitty. I hope your day was wonderful. I wanted to send a greeting card but my computer hasn’t let me do what I wanted to do. Its been so aggravating.

Maybe my last week in Oklahoma. Wound doc appt on Fri will either give me the go ahead to drive home or the "wait a bit more" statement.
My reunion & extra few days in Ohio was quite nice in many ways. Flying is fun. TSA is not. Also had 5 GOOD, NEW packing cubes removed from my front zipper pockets of checked in baggage. Took a lot of things in them & left one large suitcase at friend's home.. Brought back the cubes to use for return trip. I rarely check luggage. Always some issue when I do so.
Will write to Southwest but don't expect to hear back.
Milder weather here in OK has been good. I did have to bring back on flight Molly the cat. That is one reason I had to check the one bag that was in overhead on trip to Ohio. She did okay for an old lady(I should talk). Will be an interesting trip home with the two dogs, one cat, body that isn't quite like it should be operationally and driving a van with high mileage and questionable mechanical issues
