Art Bell, radio's master of the paranormal and outward edges of science, will return to the microphone on Sept. 16 with a new nighttime show on Sirius XM Radio.
Bell was one of radio's top syndicated voices in the 1990s before walking away from his nightly show in 2002 due to family issues. He worked occasionally after that but hasn't been on the air since Halloween 2010.
"I missed it terribly," said Bell, 68, whose weeknight show will air live from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. ET. Sirius is building a studio at Bell's rural Nevada home where he will work.

I agree with u about Art and George
Kewl. I don't have Sirius, so I can't listen, but I've gotten in the habit of checking his website for interesting news items.
What please is Art’s website?
(not currently listening but would like to take a look)
Thanks.
Much obliged.

More Details From Art Regarding New Show

Hi there,
So much speculation, GOOD! What we are going to do should be a blast in my opinion. Just think about it three hours a night to play with any topic we wish, lots of open lines and NEW Guests. No restrictions on topics. VERY few commercials.
The live streaming will be FREE for both National and thank goodness, International listeners. We will provide incoming phone lines as well as Skype connections.
I am sure some topics will be loved by some and hated by others, it is never possible to please everybody all the time, that is one of the first things any Talk Host must learn. Some of my best shows were filled with computer messages in the first hour or so that said things like dump this jerk and go to open lines but by the end of the show people were saying Gee Art that was one of your best shows ever. On the other hand sometimes the jerk HAD to dumped for open lines. Many times some of the BEST shows came from open lines. That is the magic!
No program can exist on NO income so we will depend on some aspects that we can charge for that will include the ability to download the show once it has aired, perhaps the ability to send a fast blast, and any other goodies we can throw in to perhaps ask for five bucks a Month from those willing to help, but make no mistake the live stream will be free, I want NO limits on the possible number of people who can tune in.
Art Bell
Then after Bell left again, George Nooney took over “CTCAM”. I do not listen to it all the time because sometimes it can go way out there.
Art was great. I remember when I got turned onto his show. Wonder if he will have that screaming caller preacher JC on again?
Opps, correction, George Noory.
Noory seemed like an Obot at one time to me. I felt that there were alot of liberal causes, such as the Occupy artificial turf movement allowed on the program. Maybe I should tune in again.
Always enjoyed listing to his show, even though it was pretty well nuts most of the time. If you’re up late at night and need something to listen to, it’s a lot of fun.
For late night, I much more prefer the ‘Red Eye Radio’ guys. IMO, it’s right up near Rush’s show on my list of favorites!
The Red Eye Radio guys are awesome.
I always noticed that too; he could have some kooky people on, but always treated them with dignity and respect; even in the face of incredulity.
Used to listen to him way back in the day. Null thanks for the don’t care ping.
I like Art Bell, too. And I get that a lot.
I would be astonished if he's still around. People with that much angst usually go out of this world prematurely by way of coronary.
CtoC is pretty good. Noory is definitely on to Obama and it shows. Noory tends to kiss up to some, though. Overall, it’s a pretty good show.
If something is on that I don’t care to hear, I tune it out. I’m asleep after about 20 minutes anyway. LOL
