Authorities released new video Wednesday showing an at-large shooter believed to have ambushed two detectives at a Los Angeles Police Department station earlier this week.
Clad in dark-colored clothes, a man is seen on the video (embedded below) quickly walking past cameras set up near the Wilshire Community Police Station about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.

This police station is NEARBY the Hastings crash site, and this ambush happened several nights after the Hastings crash, around the same time of night (4AM) that Hastings crashed.
Thus, these 2 cops in the unmarked car were likely "on shift" or "just finished their shift" around 4AM when Hastings crashed several nights prior.
I've been following this story closely, but until today, had no idea this surveillance video existed!
I'm not James Bond, but if this doesn't look like a professional hit, I'm not sure what would.
Do these 2 cops know something inconvenient? Since the gunman didn't kill them, are they going to drop dead from arsenic poisoning like LA Coroner technician, Michael Cormier did within hours of his office releasing the Breitbart autopsy report to the public?
Imagine if the 2 cops (in unmarked car) got killed SEPARATELY the same week at 2 different locations (eg. their homes)? That would raise all sorts of alarm bells.
Thus, they were ambushed #1 TOGETHER in the same car, #2 somewhere (time/place) they were BOTH GUARANTEED TO SHOW UP (end of shift, pulling back into the police station driveway). This way, it would look like "a single unknown shooter who happened to kill both cops since they happened to be in the same car.... and hey, it could be some disgruntled guy, who knows."
NOTE: 2 separate events are mentioned in this news footage, one being a different "Probation" related shooting. Apparently LA cops had back-to-back shootings, so they're a bit panicked.
This footage of Gunman occurs just before he "Walked up behind the unmarked patrol car and opened fire into the car, striking both officers."
What can we learn from his clothing, demeanor, weapon (they think it's a revolver)? Notice he's walking down the street with the gun drawn, ready to fire.
Probably just someone who loves dogs.
Dogs, or old people, or people living in the wrong address houses.
Thanks Lyin Libs.
I asked on the thread last night but you might not have seen it, has the LAPD said anything about these two being on-site of the Hastings crash? Logically you would think this is their duty-time and shift, but I don’t know. I would not expect the LAPD to make this seem related at all, but I was wondering if any investigators have looked into it. Right now I am not in much of a mood to trust too many “official statements” from authority figures but I was hoping someone else had done some snooping.
If it was a professional hit, they’d be dead and there wouldn’t be video (or the shooter would be masked).
The shooter is very purposeful and intent, but I’m thinking it was a message from a gang lord or a gang initiation.
The quilted nylon clothing is interesting, particularly in July. Perhaps the shooter works in a freezer related industry when he’s not shooting up cops.
So Kathy Vara could not even mention the word black when describing the suspect. The suspect kinda looked like Eric Holder to me.
I knew the cop haters would rear their ugly heads on this site...too bad. Not all cops are bad guys.
Gangs have gotten very bold and, because prison is run by them, there is very little incentive for them to not commit crime.
A banger who takes out cops is probably a superstar in the underworld. He’s going to be king in prison, if he’s convicted.
The problem is there are more bad ones than ever, and they make all of them suspect because they aren’t weeded out from the brotherhood.
I have cops in my family for decades, I know what goes on on police departments.
Here is Michael Hastings car crash caught on a surveillance camera. Watch the flash inside his car milliseconds before the explosion. Also it looks like his break lights are already on when he speeds through the intersection.

If Hastings was rushing to meet those 2 cops at the Station (farther South, along Highland) around 4AM the night he “crashed,” I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s why somebody had them ambushed several nights later as they ended their shift.
Imagine those 2 cops on the news: “Yep, Hastings called us in a panic b/c somebody was trailing him, so we said OK come to the Police Station, but a mile before he got here, his Mercedes exploded.”
The ambusher failed to kill those 2 cops, but if I were them, I’d be loading up on Life Insurance right now!
It’s very possible they’ve been targeted by the Regime, like that LA Coroner technician (Michael Cormier) who dropped dead of arsenic poisoning the day his office released the Breitbart autopsy report.
Don’t Coroners drop dead EVERY DAY from arsenic poisoning?
Don’t cops in unmarked cars get ambushed EVERY DAY outside their police station at 4AM?
I smell the stench of the Obamatollah regime.
“I knew the cop haters would rear their ugly heads on this site...too bad. Not all cops are bad guys.”
No, not all. But when CRAP LIKE THIS BECOMES THE NORM (see link), I no longer have any respect for them at all. Not until the murderers are PROSECUTED. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/07/27/police-shoot-dead-grandfather-72-while-searching-the-wrong-home-for-burglar-blame-poor-lighting/
Beat me to it.
That is an interesting fact about the reporter. I did not realize his route led to a police station.
“That is an interesting fact about the reporter. I did not realize his route led to a police station.”
Exactly. Nobody’s been asking “WHERE THE HECK WAS HASTINGS SPEEDING TO AFTER 4AM IN LOS ANGELES?”
Nothing moves in LA after approx 2AM. There’s nowhere to go except the Hospital, Police Station, or LAX (farther South along the Hastings route) to catch an early flight and “Go off the radar for awhile.”
Sorry but cops have become nearly identical to street gangs. I’m sure you can find gang members that might be decent people but they’d never betray their gangs. Likewise, even “good” cops will never rat out the bad. Ten years ago I would have argued with someone who says cops suck but today? Cops suck.
I figured that somebody hacked his car and caused him to speed and crash. I didn’t think he sped merely because he was drunk.
