I had no idea that Delta had an Honor Guard. This is impressive on so many levels.
Way to go, Delta. Glad it is my airline of choice.
Small wonder I’m a DELTA MAN!!!!GOD Bless Delta Airlines!!
Wow, very touching and impressive.
I always fly Delta, and it’s things like this that are the reason. Good people, good service, and priorities.
Yes that is a great movie and I’m glad we fly Delta whenever possible
It’s good to see how Delta has changed for I too have had an experience with the airline.
I was in Atlanta trying to catch a flight to Detroit while on leave. As I was hurrying through the terminal, dressed in Class A’s two Delta stews and a member of the flight crew stopped me and the stew said “Could you hold this?” I said sure and she proceeded to place a cigarette butt in my hand. They all laughed at how funny the joke was on a military member and hurried on. This was in 1970.
I haven’t flown Delta since.
I’m glad that these kids don’t have to suffer the indignity that we Viet Nam era vets did.
Among other things, Delta allows all military in uniform to board with first class.
Then with all due respect, one would assume the fallen is a Marine.
I’m glad to hear that.
I’n not slamming Delta per se. The honor these employees showed the remains of a service member is above reproach. It’s too bad that although the mindset of the public has changed towards the military since Vietnam, the politicians still don’t get it. With the exception of GWB, who I believe truly respects our kids in uniform, the rest have no clue. I have relatives who served in the military and were billeted at the White House during the Clinton years, Hillary showed utter contempt for our men in uniform. To think she could someday become CiC is a travesty.
