Yes; when Sarah was named VP candidate, the MSM tirade started in earnest, because it looked like she would drag McCain over the finish line - which he did not really want.- Sarah has had a hard lesson from this experience, not the least of which is to SPEAK TRUTH TO POWER and RELAX AND DON’T BE INTIMIDATED.

Well now, the truth comes out.
Imagine that ? McCain working for the Obama campaign in 2008, well so it seems.
Can't win a war when your supposed allies are working against you.

Two reasons:

Ted Cruz and Mark Rubio.

None of those were issues in 2008. You are obfuscating the point with a bunch irrelevant bullshit.

What Palin actually said in that clip about 2008 was that she was "not allowed to tell the truth about the person was, Barack Obama." Who a person is constitutes their identity, nationality and parentage.

Absolute resounding NO to Ted Cruz for President! That is traitorous treason to push an ineligible foreigner for that office. Cruz for President means amnesty for Obama. NO AMNESTY FOR OBAMA.

So you're accusing Sarah of bringing up "a bunch of irrelevant bullshit?"

The point was that birthers, once again, have done what birthers do. Which is misrepresent reality.

Birthers posted an article claiming that Sarah Palin wasn't allowed to talk about Obama's BS "eligibility problem."

The clip they provided, as always, did not support the BS claim.

Sarah talked about or referred to all the things I mentioned in that clip. The things you reference were written on a clipboard that she held up as she spoke.

What Palin actually said in that clip about 2008 was that she was "not allowed to tell the truth about the person was, Barack Obama." Who a person is constitutes their identity, nationality and parentage.

Yes, and she also held up a clipboard with those items written on it.

The ONE thing that Sarah did NOT talk about was the nonexistent birther bullshit "eligibility problem."

And the reason why I say it's bullshit is because a) the "natural born citizen" Constitutional claims are clear bullshit that have been disproved in about a zillion different ways. And b) when it comes to the forgery claims, it's now been demonstrated pretty close to the exact model of Xerox WorkCenter that produces all the things in the PDF that birthers said were "proof of forgery."

Never mind a lot of other things, like the photographs of the original paper document.

But my point in the post you refer to was: Once again, birthers post BS. And it's obvious BS. I viewed the clip from beginning to end. And Sarah Palin never said or intimated any such thing.

One more time, in 2011 Governor Palin said that questions about Obama’s faith and citizenship are “distractions” and “annoying.”

Here’s a link to the video of the interview:

Yes, in fact, Sarah has said nothing like what the birthers who posted this alleged.

So once again, it's just more birther BS.

I hope the Lefties bring on their Birther effort against Senator Ted Cruz. Let them push the issue all the way to the Supreme Court and waste their union money.

Yeah, what are they gonna say when they've run and elected a British Subject twice? The precedent has been set. They can hardly feign any interest in constitutional eligibility now and be taken seriously. I DO take it seriously. And Ted Cruz WAS born in Canada. Which IS another country. And I say, the he!! with it, I hope we can nominate and elect him. I guess bad influence can rub off on me.

Gee, I hope I come up right under that syrup!

Sorry, but your logic for denying Senator Ted Cruz a chance at being POTUS is murky at best.

There is no sound legal precedence based in US Law to put this issue to bed.

Furthermore, we have at least one President in our past who was born in Canada.

Sarah Palin

During a December 3, 2009 interview on Rusty Humphries’ radio talk show, Humphries asked Sarah Palin if she would make Barack Obama’s birth certificate a campaign issue in 2012, should she decide to run. Palin responded, “I think the public rightfully is still making it an issue. I don’t have a problem with that. I don’t know if I would have to bother to make it an issue, because I think that members of the electorate still want answers.” Humphries followed up, asking whether she thinks Obama’s birth certificate is a fair question to be looking at. Palin answered, “I think it’s a fair question, just like I think past association and past voting records – all of that is fair game. The McCain–Palin campaign didn’t do a good enough job in that area.”[125]

After news organizations and blogs picked up the quotation,[126] Palin issued a statement on her Facebook page in which she clarified that she meant to say that voters have the right to ask questions, and she herself has never asked Obama to produce a birth certificate. She then went on to compare questioning of Obama’s birth certificate to questions that were raised during the 2008 presidential elections about her maternity to her son, Trig.[127] This analogy was criticized by Mark Milian of the Los Angeles Times, who commented that “It’s not like Barack Obama hosted a radio show and called her a baby faker.”[128] In addition, Andrew Sullivan, an established skeptic of Palin’s relationship with Trig, wrote in response to her comments: “Palin has never produced Trig’s birth certificate or a single piece of objective medical evidence that proves he is indeed her biological son.”[129]

I’m curious about what Ms. Palin might have learned about withholding truth AND accepting the bad advice she accepted?
