Bob Hope entertaining the troops in Vietnam in 1967 (Hour and a half long video)

Much better than the final Bing Crosby Christmas Special in 1977. The one where David Bowie comes over in full Ziggy Stardust makeup to sing Christmas Carols and Der Bingle appears to be so far out of it that he doesn’t notice.
Crosby died on a golf course a couple of days later.
Brings back memories...I was at Chu Lai that Christmas.
Thanks for the post OP.
They mentioned Cu Chi. My brother was there (66-67) when Hope held one of his shows. Unfortunately he was on patrol at the time and wasn’t able to go.
I miss Americans like Bob Hope, Jimmy Stewart, John Wayne, etc
Who always served and supported this country.
This lot from Leftwood couldn’t hold a candle to any of them.
God rest his soul... He did a lot in his life for servicemen and women stationed around the world.
He is sorely missed
