Still doing “Blacklisted by history”, And Iain Banks’ last one. I think the cancer had reached his brains. Some good communistt sci-fi folks, but soonerf or later they always make their genocidal stuff into usermanuals..

Just finished “Fey” and “StarFire (Vince Lombard)” by Mike Lee. Almost done with “Horker’s Law (The Six Books of Magic” also by Lee. All decent reads, fairly conservative themes, too. The Kindle versions have typos (not sure if that’s the fault of the Kindle or the Publisher). Next up is Ender’s Game.

Just finished two good ones: Orwell’s “Homage to Catalonia” on the Spanish Civil War. His diary on his participation — short, good read.
Zac Unger “Never Look a Polar Bear in the Eye.” Polar bears NOT in as much trouble as Gore might have you believe. World Wildlife Fund found the cute polar bears to be a great advertising icon and progagandized the issue. Very enlightening. Hiarious (at times).
Now reading: Former Liberal and Playright David Mamet’s “The Secret Knowledge - On the Dismantling of American Culture.” Back cover blurb by Victor Davis Hanson
“He shows liberalism, at least as it is now practiced. to be a sort of pop religion for plagued souls seeking their own redemption through insidiously bothering the lives of more happy others.”
