I answered a beep indicating a text message had come in on my cell phone today. To my great surprise and disgust, a picture of the 12 y.o. Trayvon popped up, with the following text underneath (spelling is just the way it was on the cell phone text message):
"In the wake of the senseless killing of Trayvon Martin...'The company known as Koch', which manufactures paper products is sponsoring and paying for Zimmerman's legal fees because they feel he had legal right to bare arms and shoot Trayvon we are asking that people everywhere ban together and pass this information on and not purchase any of the following items because your money will be paying for Zimmerman's lawyers and legal fees. Please do not purchase any of the following items: Angel soft toilet paper, Brawny paper towels, Dixie plates, bowls, napkins and cups, Mardi gras napkins and paper towels, Quilted northern toilet paper, Soft and gentle toil paper, Sparkle napkins and paper towels, Vanity Fair napkins and paper towels. Please forward this Very Important information to All your Family and Friends. Please Let's Help Get "Justice for Trayvon Martin" Thank you!!!
I was beyond angry and utterly disgusted. The sender is a very nice black woman, fellow teacher, and I could not wrap my mind around her falling in with these Trayvon crappeople. I texted her back that Zimmerman didn't flee the country, he submitted himself to the justice system of this country and there was insufficient evidence for the jurors to him guilty of anything. And that we can't complain if a verdict is not what WE think it should be. She then called me to discuss my text reply to her message. She mentioned the 911 tape as proof. I told her straight up that the 911 call tape had been altered by the media to make Zimmerman look more guilty. No, she didn't know that. She didn't take into account the inflammatory picture of dear Trayvon as a 12 y.o. vs. the age he was at death. She didn't seem aware of the 3 suspensions at school, the burglary tools found in his locker at school, or any of the other evidence which may have been suppressed. Yet she feels confident enough to pass along this outrageous crap on my phone. However, the conversation remained amicable and she even rang off with an "I love you", as did I.
This is really scary, if nice people like this lady are so easily recruited to carry the water for the agitators.

Agreed. If the arms are excessively flabby, they should be covered.
If you are assuming that my behavior and attitude towards black people that I see is anything less than polite, considerate & cordial, then you assume incorrectly.
I simply believe that race relations in this country have been poisoned for a long time to come. That doesn't alter how I treat people. Nor would it change who I would come to the aid of in a crisis, regardless of color.
What you believe doesn't say much about actual conditions in the real world.
I certainly hope you are correct and that I am being overly pessimistic. Because I believe race relations are poor, doesn't mean I want them to be.

Ask your friend if he knows Zimmerman took a black date to his senior prom and has mentored several black kids. I only heard that on FR but I don’t think the MSM would broadcast that even if they knew it to be true.
It is really one person at a time with these low info voters. She obviously likes you enough to have a conversation and you gave her information that she can’t ignore. If she just looks up the info and shares it with 2 more low info voters just think of how many people you have informed by that one contact. I am always excited when I have the opportunity to share truth. Thankful for FR where I get all my info. I actually live in the Sanford area and have many established relationships with the AA community. Have been sharing all year and I know that some people had the ears to hear.
What do I think?
I am sure you are very smart, (you're a Freeper) but you know you are the exception to the rule - most of the public school teachers I know are dumb as a bag of rocks - although most are very nice people, too.

Another common error: The dispatcher "ordered" Zimmerman to stay in his truck.
The dispatcher stated all of these things during his testimony in court. There's no dispute about them. Any other interpretation is incorrect.

twitchy and snopes both have this Koch connection as false. Apparently, the company has also issued a statement that they have no connection whatsoever to the Zimmerman defense fund.
SIGH...it’s so damned difficult to keep up anymore! OTOH, there’s no where else in cyberspace where corrections are made with lightening speed.

There are "Sheeple" and there are "Trained Puppies". The Sheeple will do and think what their rulers instruct them through their media outlets. The Trained Puppies need no such directions. They know what assumptions to make and what sides to stand on for any given issue.
