Somewhere Rachel Jenteal said she was a Christian. I hope and pray that she be released from the chains that are keeping her from freedom. The chains of poverty imposed on her by her peers and black leaders, the chains of ignorance imposed on her by her teachers and the chains of self loathing imposed on her by whomever.
She is aptly named Rachel which in Hebrew is ewe or sheep. All Christians are sheep and as such we are all dumb and in need of the Good Shepard. I pray that Jesus be allowed to flourish in her and others like her that are trapped and lead her away from the wolves.
John 10
14I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me 15just as the Father knows me and I know the Fatherand I lay down my life for the sheep. 16I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.
I have joined in with the negative comments regarding Rachel Jenteal and suddenly felt convicted that this is wrong. Yes, she was manipulated and is manipulative. Yes she is disingenuous. But she is every bit as much a victim of the race baiters as is George Zimmerman.
We need to pray for her and others like her. She represents a great number of children who are trapped and held in invisible chains of bondage. This is a spiritual battle for the hearts and minds of our children and Rachel is one of ours.
Nah. She just said "lucky for (Don West), I'm a Christian", in lieu of calling him an a-hole.
She might as well said the common Black "Child please". She's no Christian.
Nah.
She a ho.
Racial Jenteal is just another useful tool for the race-batters. She has served that purpose and will soon be cast aside.
Thanks for the reminder. With all the evil around us these days its easy to lose yourself to rage & eventually hatred.
She’s new school!
You’re old school!
Is Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson Christians as well?
and of course, “ho” don’t mean nuttin. It’s just the way we talk /s
0bama, Jesse Jackson, Nancy Pelosi, and Al Sharpton all say that they are Christians too, but who am I to judge.
Prayers to the young lady and her family. I would imagine that she would just want to be left alone. She has been through the ringer almost like Sarah Palin who probably understand what this young lady is going through.
That is a noble sentiment indeed, but I saw no evidence that she is any more poverty stricken than any other person of any race or ethnic group-most young people can’t afford to pay for college these days, even those fortunate enough to have a job.
She is 19-she is not a child to anyone but her parents, and is fully aware of whatever lies she may have told in the course of that trial-she is also responsible for her actions.
Trayvon Martin was not a disadvantaged ghetto kid, either-he was from a middle class working family, like most of us.
Amen.
I’d be happy to pray that Rachel and millions like her who seem to be permanently aggrieved will be freed from what George Bush termed “the soft bigotry of low expectations.”
Are you serious??!!!!!!!!!
Have you glanced at her nails? her hair do? watch? THREE bluetooths? college scholarship, Morgan interview $$$ and she has a lawyer
Poverty? far from it. Ignorant? Far from it. She knows how to work the system and has a 3.0 GPA.
How about praying that she speak the truth. That certainly breaks off the chains.
Prayer best be spent on Mr Zimmerman and his family.
To me she seems like a basically decent young woman who is the victim of an imploding culture and miserably failed education system. Will join you in this.
I agree with you. I have zero sympathy for this woman. She’s nothing but a liar.
I’ll bet that she was paid to appear on all those talk show appearances.
