Al Sharpton has a new, decades-younger, attractive main squeeze.
The civil rights activist and MSNBC star, 58, is dating 35-year-old Aisha McShaw, a Westchester “personal stylist” who has been seen on Sharpton’s arm at several recent black-tie affairs, including the White House Correspondents Dinner in April and President Obama’s holiday party in December.
Al is 58, that can’t be true. He has “Open Casket” written all over him.
He’s old enough to be her Grandfather. Who knows?

I second that. As I recall, Liberace had a minor health problem (suddenly lost weight) due to a “watermelon diet” that he was on. But he was going to be fine. Then he died.
Sharpton doesn’t look like a dieter. He looks like a very sick man.

He claims to be an assistant pastor at Bethany Baptist Church in Brooklyn, NY.
He is not mentioned on the Church's website.
In what denomination is he an ordained minister?
He claims he was ordained at the age of 10 in the Church of God in Christ, but that he later converted to the Progressive National Baptist Church and was ordained in that church by the former pastor of Bethany Baptist (who marched with MLK, etc., etc.).
So the answer seems to be that he may actually have been ordained (the COGIC process seems informal - though not necessarily informal enough to ordain a 10 year old) and he probably is a guest preacher at Bethany Baptist from time to time.

But I agree with your larger point, the details of his biography are murky and malleable.
Also, Wikipedia suggests that his father left his mother for his mother’s daughter by another man.
