He didn't recall serving in the U.S. Navy. Or of being born in Florida.
When doctors told him he had five tennis rackets in his hotel room, he couldn't say why.
When they showed him photos of himself with others, he didn't recognize them, or himself.
And he didn't speak a word of English.
The man said his name was Johan Ek.
And he said it in Swedish.
That was back in February.

Strange story. Sounds like the guy has a very rare condition.
years ago I was under immense stress...my life was crashing down, and I thought my thoughts in my mother’s language which I spoke at home from four to ten. Mixed in was a little of my father’s heritage language which was spoken to me from birth to four along with English.
I could speak English, but I was translating it from my mother’s language. And normally I am not fluent in either of the parental heritage languages.
That was my thought as well. For what it's worth, he was discovered unconscious in a motel room. But who knows?
It’s always the cover up. The harsh sentence is because he crated fake Facebook personas and had those fake folks post fake, congratulatory, comments about him.

Caution: this is what can happen when you bring home five Swedish tennis players and case of akvavit.
I hope he’s alright. It’s not easy being a Swedish male these days, especially one with military experience.
