The Rev. Jesse Jackson, founder and president of the Rainbow Push Coalition, wants the United Nations’ human rights watchdog brought into the debate over the shooting of Trayvon Martin.
Various parts of the U.N. human rights system have in the past weighed in on the Feb. 2012 shooting of the 17-year-old, criticizing Florida’s “stand your ground” law and, in one case, calling for “reparation for the victims.”

Sentencing for Jesse Jackson Jr., wife set for August
CHICAGO — A federal judge has set a new sentencing date for former Illinois Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. and his wife.
U.S. District Judge Amy Berman in Washington, D.C., scheduled the hearing for Aug. 14.
Jackson pleaded guilty this year to spending $750,000 in campaign funds on personal items, including mounted elk heads and a gold-plated Rolex watch. His wife, former Chicago alderman Sandi Jackson, pleaded guilty to filing false joint tax returns.
They had been scheduled for sentencing Wednesday. But Berman postponed the hearing on Monday to accommodate the court.
Jackson is the son of civil rights leader the Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. He resigned his office in November, citing health problems.
Jackson faces a maximum five-year prison term. He also must repay the $750,000 and could face other financial penalties.
Maybe they could deport him to Israel. I hear they are all racists and haters in Israel. (We support CUFI) Some hotties in the IDF. :>)
I think the U.N. should investigate Jesse Jackson, who manifestly could not control his own johnson or raise an upright son.

Given that his father is Jewish, he is probably eligible under the Law of Return to make aliyah to Israel, actually.
