I think hell have to prove intent -which may be hard. The standard of proof is "the preponderance of the evidence," not reasonable doubt. What possible reason could NBC have had for that edit if not to create a narrative of racism?
Besides, it will never get to trial, because NBC will settle.

A lible case- has to show intent. He was a ‘public figure’ at the time too I believe.
But you’re right they’ll settle for a mil or so.

Besides, it will never get to trial, because NBC will settle. Absent a judge's order, it takes two parties to agree to settle. Were I George Zimmerman, I wouldn't be in a settling mood.

Besides, it will never get to trial, because NBC will settle. NBC, owned by Comcast, will absolutely settle out of court with sealed records.
Comcast doesn't want this bag of crap hung around their corporate neck.

What possible reason could NBC have had for that edit if not to create a narrative of racism? Especially given the editorial tack of the shows on NBC, and especially MSNBC.
They've been pushing the "Zimmerman is a racist" line from the very start, to this very day!

Zimmerman is not a public person. If he was he would have to prove malice aforethought. As a private citizen he just has to show they edited it for no reason. Even though everyone knows they did have malice aforethought.

What possible reason could NBC have had for that edit if not to create a narrative of racism?Clearly, the recording was simply too long for the allotted time slot so it had to be shortened. No?

The intent was to cause -———— . And that would be big time news.
